It's been nearly 2 months since I wrote to customer care and over 2 and a half months since this transaction but it is not resolved yet. I met the Store Manager on the 2nd of March to decide on a replacement poster that they lost and haven't heard from him since then.

I'm an avid crafter and I love shopping at Michaels!! I stoped in on Friday and picked up an online order. I love how quick and convenient it is. I placed my order and it was ready within two hours!! I walked in located the bin with my receipt on it and was out of the door in less than two minutes!! Love this location!!

I came in today to buy some supplies since I"m in the process of setting up my front yard as a shelter/resting place for birds. Usually when I walk in a retail store, I have to wander around for hours to find what I need. The associate downstairs (don't remember his name but had dark rimmed glasses) found the perfect birdhouse for me and the price was affordable too because I've been on a strict budget lately. He also went out of his way to help me find other stuff I need so I don't have to wander around the store so much looking. If you find him, please give him a raise and some kudos. I haven't had good retail customer service like that for a long time.

Went in for flowers to put on my families graves. They had a 70% off clearance sale so I picked about 15 different bunches and a planter for my baby sisters grave. I went to check out and only two came up on clearance. I let the cashier know that I had picked them from the section marked clearance. She radioed the manager and asked what to do, apparently the manager stated that if they didn't ring up clearance they weren't on sale and all they could do was give me a 20% off coupon. I told her they were clearly marked and about 10 feet away from the checkout but she didn't bother to look. Mikayla(???) the manager was too busy to come talk to me so I requested the District Managers name and phone number since everyone was too busy to walk 10 ft away. I went and took a picture so they wouldn't be bothered...nope didn't care. I was told they couldn't give me the name or number of the DM and to call the 800 and file a complaint. Called and was asked to email pictures to the customer service rep which I did while I was on the phone with them. After 10 minutes of going back and forth I was told I would hear from Mikayla(??) within an hour or two. I'm guessing since she couldn't be bothered the first time, the second time won't be any different as I have yet to hear from her.

Lazy employees who can't manage to do their jobs. It was so difficult to take the extra 3 seconds to finish wrapping the breakable items she had to shove all in one bag as well. So now I get to waste a extra hour of my day to return the broken item and get a new one. I am sure that will be a hassle too.

These stores seem to be more specialized towards a certain clientele as opposed to the Hobby Lobby approach of something for everyone. Michaels used to be a great store but I'm not sure how they stay in business now. I can always find something to buy and did here. I just don't go out of my way to seek them out.

I'm done with Michaels. I placed an order on a Thursday and it never shipped until the following Wednesday, nearly a week later! Hobby Lobby has just gained a loyal customer.

Whatever you do, don't do the order online and pickup in store. I placed an order, went in the next day to pick it up. I was told their system was down so I had to come back another time. Of course I had to have my items that day. Rudely they tell me I have to find the item and purchase it then. I have placed a complaint, was told my online order would be cancelled. Here I am waiting a week later for my refund. Ridiculous.

Normally I love this Michaels but yesterday February 12th I encountered a problem. All I had on me was a hundred dollar bill. I don't have a credit card my total was less than twenty dollars. The cashier went to give me my change but she didn't have enough in her drawer, so she called a manager on her walkie. The manager asked to ask me if I had anything else. I told her that I didn't. So she informed the manager that I didn't have any thing else. So the manager asked her if I had a credit card and she was told that she is to never make a sale until she asks the customer if they are using a credit card. I had to wait 10 minutes before the manager showed up with my change. I bought some yarn 716 yards of yarn, I started unrolling it & before I got so far into the yarn I found knots in the yarn where it had been broken off and then tied I know that's not the store's fault but I think that I should have been warned that could happen with this brand

The sign on the door says "Order on line and pick up at the store"! However they DO NOT tell you that they CHARGE to ship to the store even if the item in out of stock... Other stores routinely do not charge unless its a special order. The product is coming directly from the warehouse to the store. Wonder if they charge the store for their shipments as well? I think NOT a very poor practice in this day of on line shopping. Gene

The worst Michaels ive ever been to two employees in the whole store one behind the counter that does not know where anything is and the other one walking around just tells you to go downstairs and its on ur left side like cam you stop being lazy and show me exactly where the item is never shop at this place you have to look for everything yourself what customer service wow

I live at Watters Creek and go to this Michaels often. I was kicked out because my son was in a bad mood and was crying. Mind you my son is 2 and a toddler. He didn't throw anything or touch merchandise, no. He was crying in the stroller and the manager kicked me and my kids out of the store. His defense was some old white women were being "disturbed" by his crying. This is incredibly unprofessional. After all I am a customer too, and you definitely lost me.
