I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at the CVS MinuteClinic, which I feel compelled to share. Being unwell for four days, I needed a COVID test before returning to work. Despite my efforts to manage time, I was about six minutes late for my appointment due to lack of sleep and feeling unwell. The clinic had confirmed my late arrival, so I assumed it was acceptable.Upon arrival, I waited for approximately 6-10 minutes. Suddenly, a staff member, later identified as Ruth, a nurse practitioner, emerged in a visibly agitated state. Without any form of greeting or explanation, she accused me of being late and disrupting her schedule. This confrontation occurred in the public area of the CVS store, making it not only uncomfortable but also embarrassing.When I sought clarification on whether to stay or leave, Ruth disregarded my question, continuing her complaint about my tardiness. Her refusal to engage in a constructive conversation left me confused about the next steps. Repeated attempts to learn her name were met with evasion and outright ignorance, adding to the unprofessionalism of the situation.The store manager, though calm, could only offer an 800 number for further assistance. This passive approach did little to resolve the immediate issue or address the unprofessional conduct of the nurse practitioner.Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients seek care and understanding. The lack of basic courtesy, coupled with the unprofessional handling of a slight delay, reflects poorly on CVS MinuteClinic. This experience not only left me without the medical service I needed but also with a sense of indignity and distress.Patients deserve respect and clear communication, regardless of unforeseen delays. I hope this feedback prompts CVS MinuteClinic to reevaluate its customer service protocols and train its staff in professional patient interaction, especially during these challenging times.

Was seen 1/10/24 by APN Ruth Okpara for a DOT physical. Great practitioner. Would definitely return for future DOT exams and other care. Highly recommend her.

Says walk ins are welcome.. came in 30 minutes before close cause toddler has pink eye. Just needs an antibiotic eyedrop. She wouldn’t see him cause she was closing soon… She didn’t have any other clients either. Just lazy. Would have taken 5 minutes to help the little guy out.

The staff here are not nice people and do not look out for you, particularly Ruth. In addition, getting a hold of anyone on the phone to answer any questions prior to the appointment is going to be a waste of time effort.

Went to this location yesterday and had a terrible experience. As soon as we got there the NP asked what tests I wanted before even looking at my child. Also said I could only pick 2 tests (offered tests for Covid, flu, or strep) and if we needed more tests we’d have to make another appointment. She then proceeded to tell me they were very busy because most people are coming back for 2nd appointments since they have a 2 test limit. She also gave me the swab and told me to swab my kids nose myself. She didn’t offer any advice or suggestions on what tests she thought we should take just told me to pick 2. Later, I called CVS corporate and told them this woman said they had a “2 test limit” and I was told that is not a corporate policy so seems like this location wants to just bill insurance again and again. We won’t be going back because this was not acceptable to me and going there was a complete waste of time & money.

I have visited this clinic Today morning, to give my son the Covid vaccine, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services website states that the Covid shoot free for every individual in the united state even without insurance, but they want to charge me 56$ .what make me mad at them is that they doesn't mentioned any thing about payment till you meet the care giver, spending good 30 minutes waiting to see him and 30 minute driving.Note: the caregiver was nice and he treated us nicely. this rate for the clinic not for the staff.

The waiting area is clean and bright. Made an appointment online for my baby's covid vaccine. Check in process and everything went smoothly. Amy was very patient and professional.

NP Jen was knowledgeable and efficient. Glad to have this option available with primary appointments being more difficult to schedule.

Honestly it's not a surprise this clinic is rated so low. I've been trying to schedule and appointment for DAYS. It's either unavailable or I get through all the questions and then it gives me an error that says "try again later". So then I try to call since their website clearly isn't working. And I can't get ahold of ANYBODY. I call the cvs and ask them to transfer me and they either LIED straight to me telling me it's closed when I'm clearly within the working hours. Or they really are closed and closed early when they should still be in servicing hours. And the one other time I came here with my fiancé the dr was rude acting annoyed with us and completely disregarded what we were trying to explain to her. WHOLE establishment comes of lazy and unprofessional. I'm sick and trying to get help and the people who CHOSE this profession are MIA and can't be bothered.

Mean staff. Not willing to help even when it's easy to do.I missed by appointment by a little but I was refused the appointment. There was nobody in the line, and it won't be hard to do it but she decided to be difficult.

Don’t waste your time. My 2 young kids and I spent an hour waiting for our appointment, when we finally got called in, our appointment was interrupted and ended because someone in the other room tested positive for Covid (how that person even made it passed the screening process to get an appointment is beyond me and another issue) - so they told us to come back in 45 mins after they disinfected everything. We come back, they allow us to sit there and wait for another 30 mins just to tell us we can’t be seen today. Then proceed to service someone whose appointment was after ours, after I explained we had been there waiting for 3 hours. I respect other people’s time and expect the same in return. This is bad business. I will not be returning to this location nor filling prescriptions here anymore.
