We were excited to see a Diwali mela held by the temple at Cotton Bowl station and then We were shocked that the temple organizers allowed meat being sold at Diwali MelaPlease do not call this Diwali mela if you are OK to allow sale of meat when Krishna is not even offered prasadam with onion and garlic

The ambiance during puja times has started to feel more commercial than sacred. Despite these issues, the temple's spiritual aspects are still five-star worthy. Just be prepared for the steep food prices if you plan to dine on-site. Up until last year, the costs were reasonable, but this year they have skyrocketed. Though I understand that inflation has an impact, the increase here feels disproportionately high.

Radha Krishna Temple is one of the most beautiful temples in the DFW Area. The temple structure in white and gold is breathtaking and the views during sunset are spectacular. A must visit for anyone looking for peace and tranquility in the hustle bustle of city life. The temple also has an active community that meets every Sunday for a spiritual program of Kirtans and meditation. They celebrate all Hindu festivals and also have the famous Dallas Yoga Fest. This temple is such a gift to everyone in DFW area.

The grandeur and beauty of the temple has only improved. However, what was once a place to commune with the Deities and have a nice Sattwic meal has somehow deteriorated. It is now crowded and confusing, with limited parking and crowded corridors. Its array of festivals and cultural activities leave, along with the new desire to force fit various traditions together, makes one feel more dizzy than enlightened. And now I find the pristine cafeteria no longer serving Swaminarayan style food.
