Bill and his team took care of my Fiat very quickly. He diagnosed and fixed my issue in hours. He charged me a fair price and I will definitely use Schroeder's again!

I am a firm believer of reading reviews before I use auto repair shops. Based on such reviews and personal recommendations, I took my vehicle to Schroeder’s to hopefully resolve a persistent check engine light. After a few days, I wanted to check with the technician servicing my vehicle to give him the background of what was going on when I first noticed the light. Before I could get two words in, the technician rudely states that he’s the mechanic and that I need to talk to the front desk. I proceed to finish explaining to him the background, he calms down, and we have a decent conversation. The next day or so, when receiving an update, I am told by Bill to not approach the mechanics and not to ever go into the Bay Area. I told Bill that I didn’t enter the Bay Area, but that I spoke from the outside. Needless to say, I was not feeling like a valued customer at this point. A few days later, after performing every possible test, they believed that they found the fix. It was about $2500, but I was happy to pay. I later talked to Bill because I really didn’t like the adversarial relationship that was developing. We both kind of apologized; I was actually walked through the shop and giving a detailed explanation of the fixed. The check engine light came back on a few days later, took the car back, found a faulty hose, replaced it. All good. I felt that Schroeder did everything possible, but the darn light returned. At this point, l just clear it out and move on.
Recently, I had a coolant leak that appeared to originate from the water pump. Back to Schroeder for repair. A few days later, a technician calls and asks me to explain the problem. I tell him the exact same thing that I provided when the car was towed to the shop. He says he’ll look into it and call me back (this is a Monday). On Friday, I call into the shop for an update. I am told that the mechanic, (or Bill) is on the phone and that she’ll call me right back after she talks with him. An hour and half later, I am still awaiting a callback.
It is apparent that Bill is a fellow Christian and I like the folks at Schroeder’s. I’m trying to be a good customer. They seem to have plenty of business, and I hope that continues for them. But unfortunately, I don’t feel that I am one of their valued customers. Hopefully, they’ll call back today with a fix so that I don’t have to bother them with my business.
I received a call and a pleasant response to my review, in which some of my prior concerns were also addressed. The latest issue was resolved and communication restored. Thanks Bill, for responding!

These guys know their stuff and are great to work with. I have had my vehicles serviced here three times now and each time the issue was resolved to my satisfaction and within the price range that I anticipated. They have never tried to upsell me anything, suggested I needed service that I knew I didn't, or pulled any other shenanigans that are all too common when trying to find an honest mechanic. They aren't the cheapest game in town, but I'll pay a bit more to know I am working with an honest, trustworthy group of competent folks. Highly recommended. Note: 4 stars instead of 5 only because their outward communication could use some work: I always have to call to check on my vehicle status and find out when it is done. I think these guys all just like fixing cars more than they like letting people know their vehicle is ready to go, so they move on to the next vehicle that needs fixing! Always some room for improvement, lads.

I don't even know where to start. They have been above and beyond helpful and communicated from start to end. My car is 2015 and this is the first time needed repairs. Bill and his wife are very sweet.

This was the third time i use Bill’s services and can only summarize my experience in one word - Amazing!The service is always professional and to the highest standards while they also look for ways to keep the cost down for me (let’s face it, MB is expensive to own:)) and always have the time to explain to me and answer all my questions.In my most recent service there i had an MB dealer (north of Allen) messing up my vario roof and telling me i need to pay 12k to get it fixed, Bill and his team found out the dealer missed a microswitch and broke a pin - after fixing both, the vario roof is now working as before and for a fraction of the cost, that’s a very professional place and team!!!

My experience with the shop was terrible. Told a part was ordered 3 months ago after a full day of waiting for a diagnosis. Never heard back and when I called I was told it was because it was warranty and the car would have to be there. I had asked about a warranty when I brought the car in and told them I felt it was unlikely. I was told they called and checked with the warranty company but my warranty company had no record. It took me about 10 min to check with warranty and get confirmation it wasn’t covered. It took 8 hours at this place with me waiting- ordering door dash- and being sent on my way at 5:30 PM with the diagnosis. When I left I was told a part was ordered. I called the next day and even the next week. No part. Dishonest about calling my warranty company and dishonest about ordering the part and took an entire day of my time giving me the run around.

I have been working with Schroeder's for over 10 years. All my cars are handled as if they were their own. When they recommend things that need to be done, I trust them. Have never had to return for any work they have provided. Bill is the best and most trusted team to handle all our needs. I heard this place was highly recommended so thought I would give it a try. Had car worked on for basic maintenance, oil change, bleed brake fluid and replace, alignment and reprogrammed computer. Over $1200 in charges however when I pick up the car their is a severe rattle coming from muffler, mechanic said actuator went out and needs replaced which mysteriously becomes an issue while in shop and an additional charge. Car sounds worse after bringing it to them but since they have been paid , no longer their problem .Won’t be back

Took my 2019 Panamera (still under CPO) to get my 40,000 mile maintenance. Taylor was very nice and informative. Jake was super friendly and willing to give me advice on maintaining the car. Service was all done in a timely manner. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant not taking my car to a dealer, but this experience confirmed that it was the right thing to do! In the parking lot/garage bay, I saw a bunch of cars such as land rovers, Maserati, Porsches, corvette, BMW, Mercedes. Thanks guys for a great experience. See you back in 1 year or 10,000 miles. ?
