Be Aware. I though I'll share my horrible and painful experience, so that anyone planing on going with Home Depot to replace their house windows... Update "As for workmanship, the contractor I had was not up to the job. Attached are pictures of caulking two weeks after install... Again so much effort and phone calls to have home depot send the contractor back to fix the seal around the windows.. and it's cracking back up again... cheap material used. " pictures attached " Just opened a complaint with Best Business Bureau and still trying to get it resolved. Here's a copy of my complaint created on FEB 07 2023 I purchased new windows from Home Depot for $35,331.14 ON MAR 22 2022 ORDER NUMBER H6502-260641 On the day of install Oct 03, 2022, they brought some windows with the wrong grid design and explained that, they will place a new order, they'll install them as soon as they get them. Leaving my house looking like a mess in my neighborhood with new and old style windows. Long story short, 11 months since the order and almost 5 months since initial install, my last update as of FEB 06, is that the order is still not placed for the remaining widows. Called and left voice messages several times to Cindy Espinal "Installation Coordinator" and her Manager Damian Ramirez with no reply to a simple question "Do you guys have an update regarding my issue?" 1st week of December I contacted The Home depot customer care and the Case number XXXXXXXX was created. Damian Ramirez called me and apologized for the situation and said that the order was placed for the remaining windows and will take 6-8 weeks to get them. January 2023, I tried contacting the same people for an update with no answer... Called the Customer care and find out that no order is placed, and that they're waiting on the manufacturer to update the grids which makes no sense To add to that, the day of install, I had the contractor damage my wood-floor with deep scratches + broke my kitchen main light fixture. I sent an email to them, they said they'll escalate that to the managers... but no feedback since... just like it never happened. I feel betrayed and let down at this point. I'm so tired trying to reach them on the phone and get them to take responsibility and do the job that I paid so much money for. It's been a painful and stressful situation, I waisted so much time trying to get this resolved and get my right, but with no success. I hope this dispute will reach someone who cares about The Home Depot reputation. I so much regret doing business with The Home Depot and signing that contract.

Curb side pick up experience. I decided to pick up my order at the store instead of having it delivered to the house. I have learned from my mistake. Home Depot pick up hours are limited. Pick-ups aren't available after 6pm. If you work a lot that may be a challenge. I placed 1 order but had to go the store 3 times to pick up partial orders or the order would be sent back. Home Depot didn't provide enough for me to easily get there. You may want to select home deliver instead of the Home Depot.

Overall a good store. My only issue is the plumbing department. There is a couple of older guys that are absolutely the worst. They make clear they rather not be there, are petulant and don't like answering basic questions from layman not very familiar with plumbing. I would go to the store on 121 Hwy in Plano, fantastic plumbing personnel there. I had a great experience in Plano.

Every time I go to this Home Depot location, Derrick is always there to provide the best service possible. In any department that I may be in, Derrick is there to help and goes above and beyond. He answers any and every question that I have and gives you all of his undivided attention. A big big thank you to Derrick for making my Home Depot endeavors better and better!!

I needed to get carpet installed contacted them got quotes back and they measured my install. They said when they got there to install they needed pad since it was upstairs and the measure person evidently didn't understand you have to use pad upstairs which caused another delay in installing) on OSB floors. I said sure I'm good with the pad how much. A week later the morning is the install is when they quoted me more than 50% cost of the carpet And installation for the cheapest pad they had. This is a scam Home Depot is out here trying to just scam you. Avoid any installation services from them as it seems to be a complete scam and upsell after they get your order

Lowes is so much better than Home Depot. The managers at this store have no common sense. I had one of my workers pick up material and since it was $600 worth I needed to pay for it. He is Hispanic and doesnt have Venmo or even a bank account. Last week I paid over the phone. This morning the manager was not allowing me to pay over the phone. She said my account was suspended.. she had no idea why or how my account was suspended. I don't even have an account there, I just gave the guy last week when I paid over phone my email and phone number... so I had to drive all the way from blue ridge to this Home Depot in Allen to pay for this material in person.. there was just no logic. It's experiences like this that switch people over from Home Depot to Lowes for a LIFETIME of purchases. Not to mention I own a construction company. That's thousands and thousands of dollars of business Home Depot just lost

This store has removed knowledgeable employees. Finding help is near impossible. The variety of goods at this store is so poor that unless you are getting something over and over again, you will be disappointed by the selection of almost everything. Not a good place to "shop".

Important! I tend to call it like is is in my reviews. I recently commented on service at this Home Depot and had the opposite experience this morning. I needed 20 bags of mulch today and wanted to get it early. When I arrived at 8:45 the place wasn't busy. I immediately found someone( doing something else) in the garden department willing to help. Her and her co worker went over and above assisting me in securing 20 bags of mulch in less than 10 minutes! The cashier was expedient and helpful too! 5 stars! Yes! Thank you Home Depot!!!

David, at customer service, assisted me with a tool that I needed replaced. Him and another CR advised me of a manufacturer defect and had me on my way in under 10 mins. This location seems to have employees happy to assist in anything you're looking for. Thank you for great service

Adam in flooring was a rock star. I had a tile that no one had in stock he found the remaining ones they had and put some on hold for me at another store. Would go back to the store based on the service. Thanks Adam!!

Terrible customer service. Home Depot gave us bad information. They said that our carpet install would take about two weeks. They measured the space 2 days later and then didn't call to schedule-- so I called them to find out next steps. The lady that answered my call said, "they didn't tell you? We're backed up and it will be AT LEAST a month. I just need carpet installed in a small bedroom. What a joke. I called back later to cancel and the supervisor didn't seem to care. I asked if we could get a similar carpet that was "in stock" so that we don't have to wait for a "special order" of generic beige carpet (that they never even told us had to be special ordered in the first place!). The supervisor, Patrick explained "we really don't know when it will come in..." he also said even if you choose a carpet that's in stock, we don't have enough people to install carpet, so it will be at least a month (still). Interesting...that would have been nice to know PRIOR to making this purchase. They're willing to take your money, but they won't tell you about what the process of your project actually entails (timeline, challenges, execution). All I can say is, I'm so glad that Lowe's is right across the street! I'm canceling my order, as Lowe's said they can get this done in 1-2 weeks. I spoke with Shane at Lowe's and he is fantastic!
