I had to switch pharmacies (from CVS) due to a change in my health insurance coverage 4 months ago and specifically, to this store. What a disaster…I haven’t had one prescription filled smoothly yet. I’ve gotten 3 different stories about the last one (ordered 4/28/25) and it still isn’t filled.
This is just flat-out poor, cowardly mgmt. especially in light of the 1.9 stars rating. It’s clear no one is accountable. I’ll be transferring out asap.

This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever been to in my life. The staff is awful. They are not timely at all. There have been so many mess ups with my prescriptions, lack of telling me that a prescription is ready after double checking that they have my phone number correctly, them calling me to say it’s ready for pick up and whenever I go and get it saying that there is nothing ready, taking 30 minutes plus to grab my prescription when there are enough staff available but only one person at the register. I’ve never had more awful experiences than after this location. Do better.

Placed an order for in store pickup on my way to the store, waited 40 minutes at the store. When i finally asked what’s the update, a lady named Dani/Danny who had been walking around talking to her coworkers, she said the order was cancelled. Then I told her to show me since it says delayed on my end, and I watched her cancel it in front of me. Terrible employee and terrible store.

This is by far the worst pharmacy. They keep u on hold for over 45 minutes just to pick up the phone and say “hold on” for another 40 to 45 minutes. tell you your medication is ready and when you go to pick it up they say “it’s still at the warehouse”. Not to mention they send you a text saying ur prescription is ready so I wait in line to find out it’s not. This has happened way too many times.

Me and my family of 4 been sitting here for 2 1/2 hours for a Covid 19 shot. Customers service is at a ALL time low. Go to any other Walgreens beside the on on McDermont in Allen Texas...

I hate having to come here, but it’s the only place with my prescription. Customer service is rude, they don’t pick up the phone. You’ll be hung up on and put on hold and never picked up again.

Very poor and rude customer service in the pharmacy. The Asian pharmacist is rude as hell tells the tech what needs to be done instead of telling me and clearly she is lost So with redirecting I said no you tell what needs to be hell I’m the one paying
Won’t ever go back CVS it is.

I'm leaving a review for my husband(he asked me to and doesn't use Google). I'm so thankful for Nicole at Walgreens as she gives the upmost customer service experience. My husband works long hours and stops by Walgreens frequently when he gets off work since the store is near his work location. She makes the buying experience seamless and doesn't just act like he's just another ordinary customer. She chats with him during the check out process and is very helpful as an employee. We don't get angels like this in this common day often. Something as little as a short conversation or asking how someone's day is goes a long way. My husband used to get stressed when having to stop at the store to grab something before heading home but now he looks forward to heading to a store that treats people in such a professional and kind manner.

They'll put you on hold for 20 minutes and hang up or just leave you there. It's ridiculous, use CVS walgreens is trash.

Good evening Walgreen's,
Thank you so much Barry for answering the phone when I left East Texas, heading to Allen for Mother's Day.
Where I live doesn't do the printing of the pictures and you said that you would help me, when I got to Allen.
I was in a rush after driving in torrential rain and Barry was waiting for me when I got here.
Then I told him since it would take a few minutes, then I would come back.. I got two cards and went out because I was frazzled and realized I didn't pay for the cards..
I came back in and was like don't call the police, and they all laughed..
I paid for my cards with a really nice person name Cameron..
Then I get to my destination and I couldn't find my keys..
I knew my keys were somewhere in the car because the car started.
I called up here and they all looked for them and couldn't find them.
I finally found them and then I came back with flowers for everyone..
So, I would like to thank the Allen Walgreen's for being so spectacular today, when I needed something nice on Mother's Day since I lost my daughter thirteen years ago..
Thank you Barry, Cameron,Nicole, Danny, Makayla and Elle for making my Mother's Day so awesome.
