“Good mechanics capable of handling tough diesel work. I was passing through town and needed a vacuum pump replacement on my 7.3 Powerstroke. They knocked out the work that even required a bit of engineering (AC compressor deletion) on their end. I'm now smiling again with the Texas wind in my sails.”

I was quite sad when the water pump was leaking on my Jeep Wrangler while I was on some back roads in Big Bend National Park. I did a Google Search and Alpine Auto maintenance was the first of many local auto shops to pop up in Alpine. I had called them first thing Monday morning and they were actually able to squeeze me in early afternoon on the same day.
I was a little leery when I first got to the shop as it looked like it was just a bunch of old buildings crammed together. Don't let that fool you. These guys are amazing. They went Way Beyond what I thought they would do and replaced not only the water pump but some rotting heater and radiator hoses, a belt tensioner and also made suggestions on future maintenance that I should definitely have repaired sooner than later. They were even able to weld a broken Jerry can bracket for me.
Everybody I spoke with at this place was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop for all your Automotive Maintenance needs.”

“Edwin and his father saved our vacation. Driving through West Texas, our car started making an awful screeching sound. It was almost 5pm when we got into Alpine and most mechanics were closing. Acevedo's was open and made our repair a priority. We ended up staying the night in town and Edwin even ferried us to our hotel. He stayed in contact with us and updated us on our progress throughout the day. We were on the road late the next afternoon. The repair was sound work, and the price was reasonable for the extent of the repairs done. Muchisimas gracias!”
