“The team at Big Bend Automotive Repair was extremely friendly, seemed to really care about wanting to take care of the truck. They were very clear on time frame, because the type of work they were doing, there's a possibility that it was going to take additional time depending on what they found once they got into it. They were very clear that it could be more time, they couldn't guarantee that they gave me the estimated time that they thought it would be without any problems and a potential what it could be if they ran into some issues. They really seemed to care about taking care of me, trying to meet my time frames. Thank you very much!”

Acevedos was late opening and their tire guy was off.
Bill Williams wouldn’t plug my tire. Said they couldn’t where the nail was. I would’ve had to buy a new tire.
Cobos said they could plug it and did. Got me back on the road quickly and cheaply.
The tire is still holding up well.
Cobos was friendly and a huge help.

I was quite sad when the water pump was leaking on my Jeep Wrangler while I was on some back roads in Big Bend National Park. I did a Google Search and Alpine Auto maintenance was the first of many local auto shops to pop up in Alpine. I had called them first thing Monday morning and they were actually able to squeeze me in early afternoon on the same day.
I was a little leery when I first got to the shop as it looked like it was just a bunch of old buildings crammed together. Don't let that fool you. These guys are amazing. They went Way Beyond what I thought they would do and replaced not only the water pump but some rotting heater and radiator hoses, a belt tensioner and also made suggestions on future maintenance that I should definitely have repaired sooner than later. They were even able to weld a broken Jerry can bracket for me.
Everybody I spoke with at this place was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop for all your Automotive Maintenance needs.”
“A few months ago our Toyota was in an accident that caused a lot of damage to front. Could have been totaled out but best body did their magic. They repaired to look like new and in record time. Took longer to get parts shipped here than to repair. They had it done in a week. I have had work done in Dallas that was less damage to repair and it took over 2 months to repair. Big name place in Dallas but I noticed while there that some workers just stand around for an hour”
“I'm from Maryland, our radiator split just outside of Alpine, TX. They answered the phone at 8pm, recommended a towing service and had the new radiator installed the next day. Good, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable. I can ask for no more.”

“Had a blowout 5mi north of Terlingua and managed to get a ride up to Acevedos. They were the only place open on a Saturday past noon so I’m very thankful for them. In and out within 10 minutes, very friendly. I really appreciate the help”
