We brought our newly purchased vehicle to Best Body Shop in Alpine after it was hit on the back driver’s side—before I even made the first car payment. The damage required the bumper and side panel to be replaced.
When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the owner asked for my $500 deductible. I assumed everything had already been taken care of, especially since insurance had paid him nearly $1,000 over his original estimate. I told him I needed to wait until payday, and he said that was fine.
Once I got the car home, I started noticing issues. The bumper was slightly bowed on both sides. There were scratches on the top of the car where a part had been removed, and some melted plastic near the area they welded. Overall, the work felt rushed and careless.
When I called to talk to him about it, he told me he had already anticipated the call—because he knew the job wasn’t done properly when he handed the car back to me. He said I could either pay the deductible and wait to have it redone, or keep the deductible and accept the poor-quality repair.
That response told me everything I needed to know. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I truly wish I had known more about this shop before trusting them with a new vehicle I was so excited to own. There was no pride in the work, no integrity in the interaction, and no real effort to make things right.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I was hit by a deer and it did extensive damage to both my truck (and the deer). These guys restored the truck to looking like new and worked with my insurance company

Always a deal here at Best Body Shop. Have used them for multiple repairs on different vehicles. Always came back looking brand new.

had to give it a 2 star, the repairs for my Nissan Sentra did not last very long. Bumper started falling apart, paint chipping off, and the headlight they used to replaced is cracked.

Super location, friendly/courteous service with a clean and glowing ambience always contribute to making a business the very BEST!! And this body repair place truly fits the bill. In and out in 30 mins without waiting. Perhaps the jovial conversation with our specialist (owners son) minimized our wait time. Couldn't have been more thoroughly satisfied. Most impressed with Dwayne's artistic paintings all over the place. Highly recommend this business with glowing ✨⭐!

Someone backed into my car damaging the bumper, tailgate etc. Best Body not only helped me navigate the insurance claim process, but made my car look brand new again! They even washed it before returning it to me. I was extremely nervous, but they eased my fears and returned my "Fuego" to me perfect! Thank you, thank you!

Great service.Our car was towed there, even though we couldn’t be there in person they were very communicative over the phone and kept us posted.It ended being a total loss so I can’t review on repairs, but on service and transparency I give it 5 stars.When I went to pick up whatever personal items were left inside the car they were welcoming.
