“Overall, The Reserve is a great place to call home.
1. Work orders: Most work orders, repairs, and replacements were all addressed timely and seriously. The only one that took time (2.5 years) regarded a cooling issue that is apparently due to the old HVAC units. It seems like these units are being retrofitted across the complex, case by case.
2. Safety and security has never been an issue while I was here and I always felt safe. They have adequate security, police, and first responders that live in the complex and some that address situations outside of business hours. While there are long periods where the gate doesn't work or when the fence was down after a large storm, I still did feel safe and I never saw any car break-ins.
3. Location: The area is growing with the addition of The Mix food truck park. In addition, you can always count on a good view of the sunset onlooking the sheep and goats across the street. The location is right near the highway that can get you to Harlingen in 36-45 minutes, Weslaco in 22 min, north McAllen in 17 min, Rio Grande City in 42 min, and downtown Mission in 10 min.

“My only criticism:sometimes you have to remind the property owners you placed a maintenance request order.Not the property managers' fault:There's speedsters (motorcycles and sports cars) traveling up on Sugar Rd. very fast with their incredibly loud engines at night.The good:Pet friendly, washer and dryer in each unit, I believe, and I only saw a roach on 2 separate occasions in the 26 months I lived there.When my wife and I came under uncertain times the property managers were appropriately accommodating and helped us in more ways I felt we deserved. Now that I graduated from UTRGV, we're on to bigger things, hopefully. If we're ever in town again for a year or so they're definitely the first place I'll check up on.”
“Great experience! The manager Mrs. Luna was so helpful, she was very understanding to our needs and was very informative with the information she provided, she listened to what we were looking for in an apartment and helped to the best of her ability and was able to get my father the apartment he was looking for. These apartments are very clean, quiet, and spacious. They have been there to assist with anything my father has questions on and have always provided great customer service, we definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great apartment to call home, with a great managing team who is there when you need them.”
