I was going to give them 3 stars but felt that would be unfair do to a communication issue. The mechanic, in my opinion went above and beyond in diagnosing my daughter's 2001 Jeep. I would recommend... they are quite popular so don't be in a hurry but they did do a great job.

Avoid this place at all cost!!!!! Found them on Facebook marketplace, the price seamed reasonable. I took it in to get my transmission rebuilt never got an update call from them about the progress, after 1.5 weeks I went ahead and call them to see how things are going. They finally gave me a date for it to be ready. (The price that they offer online for my transmission didn’t match) But what can i do now? My transmission is already there. Then the guy Jeremy tells me “hey I recommend to do a stage 2, it’ll better” etc so paid extra for that which i didn’t mind since i want it to last longer.
After having it installed, the truck only lasted 3 MONTHS, 3 MONTHS!!! Wth
Called to let them know, they ask to take it back which I do. The person who i had remove it broke a piece on it while removing it. So Jeremy tells me he’ll find one, after waiting almost two months without an update call or text. I’m having to call them again to see what’s up. He says he can’t find one cause they’re on “high demand” etc. Next day I go talk to the owner of another transmission shop, he makes one call and gets me one that same day. Next day I drop it off, Jeremy calls me and says that a piece was broken with the case I brought. So I go pick it back up to take to the other transmission guy and he gets me a new one the next day. Wow, within 48 hours I’m able to get these “high demand” cases.
So he “rebuilts” it again and I get it installed again(2 time having to pay a guy to install it” and it’s still slipping at the same gears. Wth?!?!?!
All in all I spent more than 2.5k. Should’ve just gone to the bigger guys and got it done right, the first time. Lesson learned.

I typically don't write reviews, but the service I received was so poor that I feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from facing the same issues. Initially, I visited A-1 on two occasions before deciding to have them work on my car. They were very polite and assured me that they could fix it. However, I later discovered that they were not handling the body work themselves, as they partner with Dynamic Dent DFW in Alvarado.
After about four weeks of having my car in their possession, they texted me saying it would be ready on Friday, which turned out to be untrue. They kept delaying, giving me new dates that it would be ready, which continued for several days. When I finally got my car back, I paid the deductible, but upon reaching home, I found a part of my car on the floor. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the body work was not done properly, and my light was not connected.
I returned the car, and the person from Dynamic seemed more concerned about whether I had paid than about the quality of the work. After another 3-4 days, I got my car back, only to realize that the antenna was missing, and the alignment was off. It was not properly assembled. They took it back for a third time, but by then, it was Saturday, and I needed my car for work on Monday. After six weeks of dealing with this situation, I had to involve my insurance company to ensure the repairs were done correctly.
The whole process was a major hassle, especially considering that my insurance had paid them on the first day my car was there. It took far too long to get the work done properly.

I took a transmission from a van and they repaired it well, good job and then I had to go there again because the transmission of a 2020 ram broke down. It took two months to fix it and for me it was stressful because it is already going to be a year old. and over the course of the year I have been carrying the truck because they didn't leave it properly, it takes longer in the workshop than when I use it, they have disappointed me

Daaaaamn not worth a Damn no body answers phone Tara says nechanic will call never here from no one answers phone had my truck if still there 7 monthsTara called yesterday said she has been very busy ok said she would get estimate by end of week …..stay tuned

Great place for auto and diesel repairs! Got my vehicle quoted at the dealership initially and they said it would take 4k to change the AC hoses (note, just change the hoses) and fix the cv axle leak and I said hell naw I'll get a second opinion.Took my vehicle here for a serpentine belt repair and got the AC and cv axle looked at while they're at it and they quoted me half of what the dealership says and more!! Full AC replacement, cv axle replacement and serpentine belt repair and I said Heck yeah!!Honest and quality work are rare so keep it up! Please keep the massage chair! It was great to de-stress of having my car broke down that day. :) Our go-to place for autorepair for sure!!
