Maybe have actual people answer the phone to check on prescription statuses instead of a garbage automated system that doesn't work properly.

HORRIBLE customer service! It is impossible to get to speak with someone in the pharmacy! Your only option is to leave a voicemail and wait for an hour for someone to call you back! Get rid of the computer answering system and get a REAL PERSON on the phone!

Absolutely terrible customer and physician services. Wouldn’t use them if my own or families life were depending on it. It would be in best interest for you to close altogether, reconvene, and just figure it out because you guys are all a JOKE

I was at the ER yesterday with Influenza A. The nurse asked what pharmacy and I chose the Alvarado CVS because it's a nationwide store and I'm not familiar with the pharmacy in Alvarado. Heard nothing from them yesterday, no text alert , nothing yet my daughter inlaw did for her prescription (we both have the flu. She chose the pearls for her cough while I chose the liquid with Codeine to help me sleep. I waited until today at 11:45 am and called , had to leave a voicemail but they were quick to call back. Apparently my medicine is out of stock and on a backorder from the manufacturer or whoever. They could have called me yesterday to tell me this. Now I have to call back to the ER and tell them I need something different also because it's a narcotic they can't transfer the Rx to their Burleson store if they had it in stock. Not impressed at all with the CVS in Alvarado, Tx.

Staff is friendly both at the pharmacy and front checkout. This is the only CVS in Alvarado. Also, it is a very convenient location to drop off a return for Amazon as long as you have a label already.

I went to this location for a vaccine this morning. The couple who walked in in front of me went to the “check in” counter ahead of me as it should be. They began a process I presume to be for vaccinations but I stayed back far enough not to hear the conversation. None of my business. After several minutes of waiting I discover the CVS employee had their cell phone and is attempting to “update it”. Really. This is a service I was unaware CVS offers. At the ten minute mark the CVS employee announced loud enough for me to hear “now we’re getting somewhere”. Never did the employee offer me any idea how much longer I would need to wait. During the time the employee was occupied with this update the Pharmacist had to leave his duties to check out customers picking up prescriptions. My time is of value at least to me. I left without my vaccine. Please don’t claim you want to provide vaccinations while you seem far more interested in updating smart phones. The preceding review occurred on Friday. This is the following Tuesday. I arrived at this location at 9:30 to again request a vaccination. I was asked if I had an appointment. I was told walk ins are not accepted until ten o’clock. I see no sign to this effect. So once again I am left unvaccinated. We have attempted repeatedly to make appointments at this location on line. They are not accepted. I am on Medicare and our part D plan requires us to use CVS. This is the closest CVS at 14 miles one way. I now have nearly 100 mile and several hours wasted because CVS has no concept of customer service. Open at ten waste an hour and a half for lunch and soon you have a four hour workday. If you have a choice don’t deal with CVS Alvarado.

The employees seem to be very helpful and very nice their call system is horrible. and there is no provision to get to a pharmacist right away. I'm used to this with Walmart so I guess I'm going back to Walmart

I have used them in the past and haven't had an issue. I don't know if there's new people there but had I not read the tube or known what my baby was being prescribed and for what, it could've been very very damaging. On the directions it's stated to apply to my 7 month old daughters eyes twice a day and on the tube it stated that it was not for eye use and could be very harmful once I had looked up the affects of using it in the eye. I don't understand how someone could make this mistake.

Give Emily (pharmacist) a raise. That was excellent customer service. Never had a CVS Pharmacist this pleasant and sweet.

Reaching a human being over the phone is impossible

Terrible. The manager for the pharmacy has poor customer service. Refuses to assist with any problems. Does not want to do the job. Go to another location. This pharmacy does not care at all!
