Respectfully, I understand if a store policy includes checking everyone's ID. As well as making sure everyone is responsible and not providing alochol to minors who are "friends" or even preventing injuries and protecting staff. Which is great to have those policies.. of telling the truth and not simply abusing it.However... using a store policy to make a threat It's illegal against state law. Is highly inappropriate. Not only that. As soon as myself, and my relative (both over the age of 21) presented alcohol, with 2 minors who are NOT going to drink; tagged along with us. The two staff members who were workikg behind the register 3/23/24 Demanded to see everyone's ID, very RUDELY. They had attitude, as well as began laughing while interrupting its illegal for them to sell us alcohol... when in fact; it can be a store policy. However; state law "In Texas, a person may purchase an alcoholic beverage for or give an alcoholic beverage to a minor if he is the minor's adult parent, guardian, or spouse, or an adult in whose custody the minor has been committed by a court, and he is visibly present when the minor possesses or consumes the alcoholic beverage." -APIS Texas Alocohol Policy Information System.And..."In Texas, a minor may possess an alcoholic beverage if the minor is in the visible presence of his adult parent, guardian, or spouse. Tex. Alco. Bev. Code Ann. § 106.05."Please have your staff informed of these laws. And instead of using threats its illegal. Just say it's a store policy and everything is fine. Drop the kids off. And get our IDs. If needed. I'll bring an infant to make a point and present their birth certificate next time. :/I will call the manager about their attitude however. I made a call to correct their threat of "its illegal". Whoever picked up the phone... has an attitude and interrupted. When I mentioned the law... they got quiet. So it tells everything what I need to know about the establishment :)))If you want to purchase Alcohol under their store policy and not hit with "it's illegal. Show us everyone's ID". Leave your kids at home, and plan accordingly to not drive 30 minutes out with a child or leave your kids in the car before going in.

The older lady with the glasses that worked this morning on 9/23 around 10:45 a.m. was so sweet and I see her there all the time working hard she deserves great things she is so kind-hearted and I think she deserves a raise because you don't get customer service like that anymore!!

I'm new in the neighborhood and became a regular customer at Sunny's, I came here often bc I like the customer service. I have worse anxiety when it comes to people but not at this place. I feel comfortable coming to this store, kinda wish it could be bigger and have all sorts of Groceries n Home needs lol Employees were great. Love the environment, very friendly and welcoming .

Been coming to this station for 6 years and never had any problems. Gavin and the staff were always friendly and there to help. However, one of the lead Cashiers, "Lacy," who lives in my neighborhood wants to do nothing but spread rumors and gossip to residents of my neighborhood who are also customers of Shell and all those standing in Line. She has defamed me by slandering with false statements presented as fact intending to damage my character when I have done nothing to deserve such treatment. The owners son, Gavin, acted stupid, like he didnt understand my Complaint. His failure to act makes him complicit to slander and defamation. If you wants to hear gossip, this is your store !

Horrible people charged my account for gas but didn’t let me pump then told me that the money was in between so they don’t have it and I don’t have but that’s my problem not theirs. Said if it didn’t “come back” after two or three days to go to my bank because it’s not his problem. Was so rude!!! Never ever go to this gas station they are all so rude.

Everytime I am in here, I get great service. The food is surprisingly awesome! Especially the fried pie thingies. Dawn, one of the employees, is a sweetheart. My friend and I have been going in there for a couple years now. We are addicted to their cheese sticks because they taste like the fried cheese we sometimes got when we lived in the midwest. After a while we really started to love Dawn and decided she was our Texas mom. So if you are in there and you see her, be nice to her, she's a sweetheart.

Something fishy here with gas pumps. This has happened before. Pumped gas and paid for car wash. No receipt printed. Go inside to get receipt and the amt was different than what I paid on the pump and there was no carwash number. So obviously not my transaction. The clerks say they are having problems and CANNOT fix it. They can't print a correct receipt and will not give me a car wash even tho I paid for it. They said I had to come back the next day and a mgr MIGHT be able to fix it. OK, this is a stupid answer. And a really similar thing happened to us a few months back at this same place. I think there is something going on with the clerks. I contacted Sid Miller at Dept of Agriculture whose dept regulates pumps at stations. I will check the cc total and compare but I don't have a receipt for back up because the staff cannot figure out how to fix an error. Stay away.

Not even worth one star. The owner is very rude, and extremely unprofessional. The employees are just as rude. I was happy to see another gas station on this road years ago when they opened but honestly I wish this one would close down. He doesn't deserve ANY business at all!!!!

If i could give negative stars I would! The owner of the store had multiple things marked wrong and instead of honoring the prices he yelled and kicked me out of his store!

Great stop and go place, everyone of the ladies and gentlemen I've come in contact with are nice country people. In the mornings they have awesome breakfast toaster sandwhiches, and every day they have a lunch special. The new owners are nice people who are more than happy to help you out as well. All in all a great store with a convenient location right off the highway.

I bought 2 bottles of Old New England Egg Nog just before Christmas and it was spoiled. I called the manager, James to see if I could exchange it, he said he could not due to state law. I then called the bottling company, he had me read the date code off of the bottle, he said it was 18 months old and the store should not have sold it. I called James back with this information and he claims he had just received them this season. I asked him to at least give me store credit, but he would not. I wish the bottling company would put an actual date that a consumer can understand and not some 4 digit code. I think the store should be responsible for selling product that is not beyond it's expiration date. I will not shop at Stoney's ever again
