Great selection of beef jerky. I'm visiting from our of town, I enjoyed the store. The cashier looked at me like I was from another planet... Wish there was some exotic meat that was easy to travel with, but it was cool. If visiting again, id stop and check it out again.

I recently had two deer processed by Stanton’s Wild Game Processing, and the experience was exceptional. The employees were highly professional and knowledgeable about their services. The turnaround time was prompt and efficient. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and it met my exacting standards. I will undoubtedly be returning for future deer processing needs.

We came for the hardware store which had the part we needed that Ace hardware didn't have.
We were impressed with the grocery store's wall of beef jerky, also the marinated chicken breast or thigh flavors. The staff was impressive also

Dropped deer meat off for processing. 2 weeks later still sitting on ice not processed. Warehouse full of other customer coolers with meat sitting on ice. Family member picked his meat back up after 3 weeks sitting on ice still not processed. Meat is as rotten in cooler. Good way to get people sick processing and selling rotten deer meat.

HUNTERS BEWARE!!! We dropped the meat from two deer that our boys harvested off at Stantons to be processed into sausage. When we left meat, it was fresh in a cooler with plenty of ice. We were told it would take 2 weeks to get it back, and we were fine with that wait. We stopped by the store to check on our meat 26 days after we dropped it off. We asked to see the meat, and when they finally brought our cooler out we opened the lid and the smell of rotten meat was overwhelming, and the meat was discolored. They told us right there that the meat was fine and if we were not happy we could take the meat back home. Knowing that we could not eat rotten meat, we took it and disposed of it. We can not believe they would do this to their customers. (we spoke with another hunter while we were waiting, and he told us he had waited 5 weeks, and I hope he doesn't get sick) This is unacceptable, that meat would have fed our family for a whole year.

Like stepping back in time (in a good way). A truly unique small home town feel. Excellent store. Excellent meat.

Turkey is not my favorite meat, but last weekend Tammi and I purchased a bacon wrapped stuffed boneless turkey breast. It was awesome! We'll be back for more. Excellent job Allen!

Ok, love this place so much! Drove down from Sugarland several times to get some of their meats, they have some exotic selections like Elk, Yak and also more everyday cuts that are of discernable quality. I tried their local hotdogs that were blueberry/maple and from the same brand (stanton's) cheddar hotdogs which were astonishing, you need to try them.

I have shopped at Stantons since 1985. They have always been great but I especially appreciated them after Hurricane Ike I think it was and no one else was open. If I remember correctly there was no power but they opened anyway and used a manuel cash register to take care of our needs. The big corporations didn't do that for us but Stantons did. That is real service and loyalty to their customers and I for one will never forget it.

Meats look great. We bought some but haven’t cooked them yet. Our dog loved the bone and marrow. Lots to see and look at.
