Dollar Tree is a standard, sometimes cluttered store where customers can find a variety of items. While many things remain the same, the store now offers items priced from $1.25 up to $3 and $5 in a clearly marked PLUS aisle. These newer, bigger items are seen as slightly better quality and can be exciting or practical, with customers often finding something cute for the garden or for craft ideas. However, the price increase to $1.25 and the rapid addition of higher-priced items have given some frequent shoppers mixed feelings. The shopping environment can vary. Some customers report a very quiet and eerie atmosphere where they feel unwelcome, watched from the moment they enter, and treated like a possible thief, which makes browsing difficult. On a more positive note, the store's bathroom is decent and does not require a key. The checkout experience is inconsistent; cashiers are sometimes described as terrible, with customers often waiting for them to return to the register, although a clerk will occasionally open another line to help when it is busy.
The young man that is the store manager was very helpful in checking the store for the items I needed. I appreciate his attention to detail and his help once I got to the store. Great experience!
