Asian lady doesn’t seem to like kids i guess because one I wasn’t welcomed in when i came in with all my clothes, then since my toddler was being a lil loud she would sprint to see what my toddler was doing as if she was breaking her stuff but she wasn’t touching anything or getting on anything for her to make me and my kid feel like that had a mad serious face the whole time i was there not even a smile. I wont be coming back!!People who run business like this are horrible! Treat EVERYONE with the same respect!

Did not allow dogs and I had my dog with me and I did not want to leave my dog in the car because it took so long and I just didn't want to leave my dog in the car for that long

Huge machines that washed my oversized stuffed animal. The lady was very nice and I'm really happy with the way my things came out.

The lady that works here is condescending and prejudice!! Felt like I was being racially profiled the whole time I was there!! She tried to tell me and only me(nobody else) how to wash my clothes!! On top of that the dryers heat is turned down so you have to spend more to dry your clothes. Complete waste of money coming here!

I travel around in an RV and use laundromats often. I needed to wash a large, heavy blanket and quilted bed cover and that means a large washing machine each. Hood Street Laundromat is in an older building with heavy duty commercial washers. I didn't count the washers but there were over 20 dryers and there was not one "out of order" sign on any of them. The floors, folding tables, and machines were clean. There is an attendant on duty (for assistance and laundry drop off). There's plenty of parking around the building and chairs inside and outside. I would recommend and use this laundromat again.

With all the washaterias in Alvin save your money and go elsewhere! Rude, greedy owners. Old owners were great (miss Gayle) are not there anymore - new Asian owners wife- this lady was downright ugly and quick got a rude attitude when I told her none of the washers had hot water and I needed that after having the flu and wanting to clean everything good. She argued with me and raised her voice telling me I was wrong! Then they have the dryers turned down so low so you have to spend more money to get your stuff dry! Terrible and robbing people blind. I go to the new washateria on hwy 6 now, much better and they appreciate your business .

Nice clean little laundromat. But Maps asked a question about wheelchair accessibility, I think it is accessible but it will be rough.

Stick with the small washing machines as they are the more efficient machines. I would skip the largest machines as they are $7.00 a load and they are not efficient. The clothes came out of that machine very wet, requiring extra time in the dryer. The small washing machines are $2.50 a load, the medium size machines are $4.75. Dryers are .25 cents for 5 minutes.The liquid dispensers in some machines were moldy.

I was in town for work, paid the lady 104.00 to do all my laundry, she called when the laundry was done and I picked it up, I opened the laundry to put it away once I got back to my RV, it was still damp, so I had to lay everything out and allow it to dry before I put it away. So disappointed to say the least, if I have to go back to Alvin Texas for work I will find a full service laundry that also dries the laundry.
