It took me over 30 years to find out the best man at my wedding is a scammer. He took my money and totally destroyed my vehicles. When I brought the cars home, a Saleen Mustang, #28, a 1982 beautiful Riviera and a 1982 Nova which I paid just to have started, the cars had dead batteries, the Saleen caught fire, and Vinnie totally desecrated the Riveria because I would not sell the car to him. His place as far as I am concerned should be closed down.

Meticulous attention to detail, Vinnie is one of the most sought after Corvette specialists in the US, and probably the world. All of the cars in the shop ,(not only Corvettes, but many different classic cars as well) , are meticulously inspected upon arrival and before they leave, by quality control. This ensures a quality product, that is safe ,beautiful and is able to be safety inspected and drivable once the owner takes possession of the vehicle. It's top notch work, that takes quite a bit of research to source parts, and undo many years of repairs from individuals, that, throughout the years were not entirely familiar with how things really work on classic cars. This makes things challenging and time consuming, although the finished product always comes out top notch.

THEY DO NOT SALE, THEY RESTORE! I must say, from the work I've seen they Resurrect, for Jesus too was a body man, he could take a total loss totaled out soul and put a Lotta spirit and love into it and it would be not only restored but glorified. The work I've seen from this place is on a heavenly lvl. Check them out for your next miracle project.

Muscle cars does not properly represent what they will do to your car. Their billing is very vague and they wont break down hourly charges on your car. Some of the parts they put on your car don't look new even though you are billed for new parts. I wont be returning there to get fixed what they screwed up. I like my car too much to have it abused again. Look at rhe attached photos and see if the oil filter and steering pump look new. Your call. The fluid on the ground is just from one night sitting in the garage. Proceed with caution.

I am not necessarily writing a review of Muscle Cars of Texas, but more of my experience. You will then have to ask yourself if you want the same type of pain and expense. Let’s first look at some of the fees and expenses. $125 an hour for labor is fair if it is completed professionally and actually accomplished. $1800 for a radiator that I ended up suppling because JEGS sold the same one for $1200, $50 for 5 gallons of gas, $135 for 8 spark plugs, (no, they aren’t made of gold). Those are some pretty big mark ups.$105 for a power steering pump is fair and so is the price for the headers. The power steering pump looks old and isn’t new. The bubbling paint and rust on the inside of the tank hints at its age. You can look at the photos and judge for yourself. Vinnie said the paint was scratched during install and it’s a new pump. I do question if I actually needed the headers in retrospect. I never saw the old ones and I was told the ports on the original headers didn’t match with the engine so they had to be replaced. The 88 hours of labor was not what was quoted. The original quote was for 96 and that included adding Vintage Air to the car. There was no way I was about to pay that amount and I told him that. That’s why you see the declined on the final bill. I was told it would be 2 days for the radiator and few days for the odds and ends. It turned out to be 4 MONTHS. Yes, that right ONE THIRD OF A YEAR. This car already had a frame off restoration. I was just upgrading the radiator not rebuilding the car. I understand that the pandemic slowed down some parts, but I know when the parts showed up. The whole process was painfully drug out in my opinion. I was told there was only 1 guy working on 8 cars. I guess I was at the back of the list. They also changed the oil per the bill. Check out the photos and you can judge the condition of the filter and oil. Vinnie said the filter got dirty while in the shop and the he put additive in the oil. That’s why the oil looks old.I also pulled a spark plug since he replaced those per the bill. Use your own judgement. They are same brand etc. that the car was dropped off with.MY K&N air filter is missing. See the attached photo.Fresh oil leaks from the valve covers he repaired. The 4 months were hard on the paint. It came home with new scratches and gouges. If you like your paint, think long and hard on that one. He did offer to buff them out. I passed; it would probably take a month minimum. In a nut shell, let the photos speak for themselves and you make up your own mind if the parts are new and if it really takes 88 hours to install a radiator, power steering pump, headers and adjust the EFI. Ask yourself about the quality of the work. The engine leaks more now, then when it was dropped off.Lastly, he only takes cash or check. If you don’t pay, he gets to keep/impound your car per Texas law. If he took credit cards you could at least dispute the charge. The only recourse you have is to take it to the judge. Think long and hard before you take your car here. Everything I talk about is backed up with photos. The other 5-star reviews, not so much. Pictures are worth a 1000 words. Buyer beware. If you want to see what shape the car was before it got abused look it up on Bring a Trailer results. 1971 Corvette
