This was a pretty decent campground. No complaints. Big spots. Hookups were pretty well taken care of. Site was somewhat level. Staff was very helpful.

Great little RV resort. They have very, very clean facilities, a pool, a lazy river, mini golf and they have a clubhouse which they have events/food happening daily. They also text you with what is happening that day which is so handy. I had broke my foot just before getting there and the bathrooms were handicap accessible with great showers to assist me. They are close to restaurants, stores etc. Great RV spot. I highly recommend St. Ives RV Resort.

Fantastic little park with plenty of activities. The spaces are easy to get in and out. The staff really cares.Nearby activities: Very close to Alvin, but country feel. Neat little Mexican place very close by.Food & drinks: Breakfast on Saturdays and food offerings on many evenings.

We stayed at St. Ives for 2 months (Nov-Jan) and were less than impressed. Anytime it rains, your yard will flood and won’t dry out for quite some time. The bar is overpriced with mediocre food at best. The pool and lazy river are not heated, so we couldn’t use those. Activities in the clubhouse were fun, however, the clubhouse is too small for as many people that go to it. The roads throughout the park were horrible, holes almost everywhere. We were debating on staying longer, but a man in the park threatened to kill one of the other ladies staying 2 sites away from us and slashed 3 of their tires. Turns out the “manager” never told the owner (he was out of the country we believe). So, a week later he is finally getting kicked out. “RV Resort” is a reach from where it currently is. Gates are open 3 or 4 nights a week from around 4 to 9pm. Don't advertise gated park if the gates are always open. Needs better management and they penny and dime you for everything. If you’re in the area, I would seek an alternate park.

Very friendly and clean RV resort. We booked three nights. After two nights we booked two months! Very quiet spot! Love the Lazy river and pool are amazing for cooling off. Bathroom, showers, office, laundry room always very clean.Location of park was 4 mins to gas station and 15 mins to town. Food vendors as well as the Elite Bar and Grill always has great food and drinks! If you go to the pool and lazy river you should bring your big cup with a lid and straw in order to save the hassle of Staff making you open a tab. If you do order drinks or food make sure to tip appropriately. Workers also live on property and keep and eye on everyone. Cameras all over the park help you feel safe along with locked gate. Very friendly and welcoming community!Nearby activities: Lazy river, RC vehicle racing course, pool, hot tub, clubhouse, laundry!Pet friendly!!Food & drinks: Love the bar and food specials

My wife and I stayed at St Ives for three weeks while I had a medical procedure. The resort is clean, quite and close to MD Anderson. The photographs of the pool, lazy river and miniature golf is exactly what you will find when you arrive. We utilized the pool , lazy river and the laundry room while we were there, the laundry room was spotless and smelled clean and fresh. We have to return in October and December to Houston and we will stay here both visits.

Clean RV Park, Kid Friendly, Easy check in and out (digital check in without having to go inside). One thing I would have preferred is the removal of the "No outside Food or Drinks" at the Lazy River portion of their RV Park. Ultimately it's a camping environment at a RV park, not a water park like Schlitterbahn . In my opinion camping is for folks that want to get away and not spend a fortune. It's very nice that the pool and lazy river are offered attractions at the RV Park, but I disagree with forcing people to buy the campground drinks. If there is a need to raise funds to maintenance the pool and lazy river, I would rather see that reflected in the cost of the stay versus trying to prohibit bringing drinks to the lazy river. I have kids (age 1 and 4) and I don't need to buy beer or cokes at the lazy river. It would have been wonderful to pack snacks and drinks and not having to go back to the camper, dry off to get a snack and drink and trek back to the lazy river. Other than the minor inconvenience, everything else was wonderful. They offer lots of inside games near the pool area, putt-putt golf and even an RC track for RC cars.

Great little RV Resort but do have a few grips you might say. The club house is too far from the Lazy River where all the activity really is at. Not all the planed activates happened and not sure why. Was not aware of the white rock roads and site pads which makes ALOT, ALOT of dust in and around the park. Pools and Lazy River all close at 8:00pm, needs to stay open to at least 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays.Staff was very friendly, close to Houston, Galveston, and other Gulf Coast adventures. Yes I would recommend this Resort to anyone coming to this area.

We had a close weekend getaway to this new park in Alvin, in order to accommodate existing schedules. The lazy river and pool are nice. The ladies working the bar and selling beer poolside were super sweet. Brenda deserves a raise for delivering our beverages to us in the river! We will be back.Walkability: The park is small enough that you can get everywhere on foot, but a gold cart is cool too.Food & drinks: Yummy drinks at the bar!

Overall nice place. they need to open the swimming pool around 9 AM and the lazy river not 11 a.m. specially, when you have to check out, by 11 you can’t put those kids in the pool. Ants ? very

This is an ideal place for us with no little kids. It has a bar, snacks and activities to do in the evening. We were able to drive to other towns for the day. We will definitely visit again. Owner is super nice as well.
