This place used to be the best car wash in town. The photo was taken on Saturday, busiest day of week. Very dissatisfied with new ownership, since taken over business went down quick! They lowered water usage, less detergent, not even dry your vehicle. Maybe 3 people are working on the busy days. Usually, I go through 2 or 3 times to get my truck clean, bugs off the front, or wind shield or even dirt.I have been a loyal customer 4 years paying yearly for two memberships, and sadly, I won't be renewing. I think the only customers you see are the ones that paid memberships up front. I tried to get a refund, but the manager said to read small print on contract, NO REFUNDS! Buyers beware.

I like to believe that I'm a pretty patient, level headed person. But today I paid Racer Carwash (come to find out, now Take 5) $16 for me to wash my own pickup. After the initial wash that looked like someone squirted it with a water hose, I asked for a refund. Come to find out, they don't offer refunds but begrudgingly offered to rewash it and then so kindly pointed me to the "complementary towels" if I still wasn't happy with the wash's results. When I asked "so you're telling me I'm paying $16 to wash my own windows?" I was told "well, I upgraded you to the $25 wash for no charge" like I was getting a huge discount or something... Surprise! It still wasn't clean (and honestly it really wasn't that dirty to begin with). The road grime was as bad as before it went through the tunnel and the entire vehicle is covered in water spots.

Since Take 5 bought out Racer Classic Car Wash it went down hill fast! I’ve been using Racer Car Wash for years! No more! To top it off, I was in there last week on a really hot day! I pulled it out of the wash and pulled in to dry it off. I already had dried water spots all over my car! My husband went to find some one to talk to about it! I think maybe a total of 3 people were working! He finally found the management in charge! They told him the spotless part of the car wash was out! Why don’t they tell us before we washed our car? The spots wouldn’t come off! I think Take 5 should pay to have my paint cleaned! We are not going back! We even have free car washes from the purchase of both vehicles! Doesn’t matter! Cars are too expensive these days to let Take 5 ruin them!

Every time I use them I hope for the best but usually get the worse. They haven’t had hand dryer for months but all the other washes do. Anyway today was the worst wash ever. It stopped while I was in it, the water was dirty and left film and dirt on my truck. I will never use them again or even utter their name.

Service has become pretty terrible recently. I’ve had a membership for several years and enjoyed it. Turns out Take 5 bought them out and customer service has plunged with no more towel dry at the end and just lower quality cleaning. My car comes out still dirty. These are the same people that bought Boltons out and had to apologize for how bad they ruined it. Hopefully they figure that out sooner than that and go back to what made it good. I’m canceling my membership and moving to Mighty Wash.

After I left and got home realized soap left all over my car. Already threw my receipt away so didn’t go back. Ten dollars for a car wash and nobody there to dry vehicle. Not impressed this time. The first vacuuming station did not work.Service: Auto interior vacuuming

I just purchased a monthly subscription for Racer Classic car wash at the Milwaukee location, but I was rather disappointed In the washing results.The very front of the car (Yukon XL) was barely washed at all, a lot of bugs still stuck to it.The bottom part of the front, under the bumper, didn’t even seem to have seen water.The back window, once it had dried, still had a layer of fine dirt on it.The front wind shield lost about half the bugs that had been on it, but many still remained.I also noticed foam/soap still on rear view mirrors and on windows after the wash was done.Note: my car was NOT overly dirty. It had been maybe 1 week since last wash.I am going to go back and see if my second wash is better, but as of right now I am thinking I’ll be cancelling this subscription.Racer Classic (especially the one on University) used to be the best wash in town, but I sadly don’t believe this is the case anymore.

This is honestly the worst car wash I've ever been to. I only came because they had a promotion for a free wash, but it still wasn't even worth it. The wash didn't rinse a huge amount of soap off my car and the vacuums were clogged (I tried two). I literally had trash fall out of the vacuum and into my car. It made my car dirtier inside and out than when I came.

Excellent customer service!!!!!Great interior vacuums and I love that they have an actual person to do a quick wipe up job at the end of the car wash. That makes such a huge difference especially on the windshield/windows. Great experience all the way around!

Be careful don’t use this car wash please Take 5 owns them now and the customer service get worse I cancel my service and a month later they still trying to charge me. Even email them and still nothing also new rules are made up if you don’t let them know they can still charge you so learn the new rules because they won’t tell you just change your credit card every day till they get something gone down hill quickly also they stop drying cars even though you day for it things aren’t working right as they should………. Wish I could give a 0 or negative number

Had a car wash . The wash dishes d not get the back of my car clean and it didn’t clean the wheels even though I pay for that. I had to do that at home. Will most likely cancel my monthly car wash since I always have to clean the back and wheels at home. What’s the point of paying for a car wash?

We were very impressed with this place. Friendly staff and they wipe off your windshields after the wash so no streaks. We aren’t from around here and were not use to this service being done after a wash, but were very happy with it.Service: Polishing

I have a very special car that has been wrapped and when I signed up, the manager asked me if I wanted my subscription to say for the brushes not to touch the car. I didn’t even know this was an option! It keeps my wrap from not peeling! Thanks for asking!
