“Interesting collection of items in a very large co-op space on a street full of quirky collectible and antique shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were what you’d expect at a gift shop with some deals to be found.”

“We almost missed this gem while visiting Amarillo, Texas, but I’m so glad we didn’t! We were lucky that the owner, Dora, was still there around 6 PM and hadn’t closed the shop. She greeted us with a big smile and even offered to take our picture in front of the Route 66 sign outside her store.

This charming antique shop is filled with treasures, each room is beautifully organized, with antiques displayed from floor to ceiling. Every wall and corner holds something that will catch your eye. I ended up buying three adorable little spoons ($3 each) and took plenty of photos to remember the visit.

Dora has been running the store for over 20 years, following in the footsteps of her mother, who managed it for nearly 40 years before her. She shared so much history about Route 66, which made the experience even more special. Before leaving, we signed the guestbook and Dora gifted us some cute pins, which was such a thoughtful touch.

I’m so glad we stopped by, this place is truly a Route 66 treasure!”

“This place is so unassuming on the outside. I almost didn't go in. It was our last shop and I wish it had been the first! The street outside looks rougher than I expected and the other shops we went into were more old lady-ish. The NAT is what I was looking for! It has tons of antiques, but they feel somewhat curated by a younger, more discerning hand. Keep walking all the way to the back and be amazed by how big this place is!”

“He takes on impossible jobs and makes them look great! We're waiting on another color match for three more cabinet doors someone else didn't match right. Very knowledgeable.”

“Today I went in because I was desperately looking for something specific to lay next to my brother who just passed away. The woman working the counter was so kind and helped me out to the best of her abilities and found me exactly what I was looking for. It's hard to find that kind of empathy and kind heartedness. That really left an impression on me and I will forsure be back when I come back into town.Thank you!!!”

“This place is a hidden gem. Incredibly kind people who make you feel right at home, and the collection of unique vintage pieces is wall to wall with very reasonable prices. I’ll be back there most weekends!”

“Visited after reading the popular negative reviews. I came with no kids, and I found the store owner friendly and helpful. I wasn’t followed around the store or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. The signage was aggressive and uninviting. It’s a bit shocking at first, and made me feel the need to tread very softly so as not to accidentally break something. Especially because some areas are narrow so if you have a big purse (like I did) maybe leave it in the car and just bring your keys and wallet. Eventually after enough time looking around you don’t really notice the signs anymore. I’m giving this location four stars because I thought there were interesting items and good service but I found the passages sometimes too narrow to really look around and some of the items were placed so far behind or below another item that to even truly see it you’d have to remove lots of fragile old items which you obviously wouldn’t want to do. Overall, I would return!”
