Bar Z Winery is also a Harvest Host. They allow RV'ers to spend the night if they cover into the winery and taste and purchase. That is a fantastic way to travel across the country. Loved their wines

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, great wine, and entertainment. Our dog was also very welcomed.

This is a really fun tasting room off the beaten path. Don’t be fooled, you literally have to take this semi-paved road back to this facility. The wines use Texas grown grapes and are very good. It’s a fun atmosphere inside and has a nice patio overlooking the countryside.Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Super disappointing experience. Below par customer service (borderline rude), no tastings available as advertised, and the bottle of Tempranillo was not great at all.

Staff was pretty unfriendly. Another customer gave us one of the drink cards she paid for and they threw it away instead of letting her buy us a drink. Not the best winery I've been to by far. Drove 30min to try it out and not super impressed.

We were excited to come but hopes we're dashed. We confirmed our reservation for Aug 24, 2923 and they confirmed it twice. We drove up to the gate, called the # for a code to open the gate......never got a response. We were there before 3. Called 8 times, text 2 times, emailed 1 time, fb post 1 time.....we idled there over 30 min before we went and had. Great time at Palo Duro Canyon for the night. Unless Bar Z had an emergency...thi was very very very poor service. It is 2 pm Aug 25th and we ha e still heard nothing from them. Really? You have service like this Bar z?..NOTWhat a horrible way to represent Harvest Host. Lisa and Brad WilliamsWe don't know if the wine and food were good, we had no chance to get in. The service is terrible.

Had the pleasure of staying here with Harvest Hosts. First time having Texan wine and it was very good. We prefer dry wines especially Bordeaux and Napa cabs. Would happily have one of these in place of those. Monty the owner was very inviting and great to talk to especially when it comes to history.

This is my second time at Bar Z. Great people, delicious reds, and beautiful views. It's a wonderful place to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset.

This is a relaxing place to unwind and try a few Texas wines. My husband and I each tried a flight, four generous pours for $22. The bartender chose bold reds for my husband, and he liked three out of the four (Little Hass was best). The ones I tried impressed me, for Texas grapes anyway. They offer many different options (and the bartender had a ton of restaurant ideas for us). They offer charcuterie boxes, and the place is dog friendly.

Bar Z Winery has a large sign pointing out the entrance. They have a very long driveway. When you get to the large Quonset Hut looking building, look for the tasting room sign on the left side and proceed up the walkway to the entrance in the rear of the building. They have a very nice patio to enjoy your wine overlooking the canyon.
