Stayed there last Saturday and our experience was so great we are staying again this Saturday! The staff went above and beyond for us with a baby. Gave us a cute little gift for the baby and let us park right under cameras due to a full truck. Rooms were super clean and beds were super comfy!

Rooms: I booked a king room for two people and a pet. They said the app I booked with didn't tell them. We had to contact them ahead of time and let them know about our dog. They changed our room and gave us two queen beds, which was good, but it was a room used for pets, and it stank of urine, it was awful! Even our dog didn't want to be there, but it was already late at night. There was a thunderstorm that hit just when we checked in, so we decided to stay. We turned the AC fan on high to mask the smell and try to get some sleep. It was just one night stop over on a three day drive back home and we were so tired to go and try to change rooms. We felt that they gave us that smelly room because we had a pet. They probably thought we were used to pet urine smell!! No cool.
The bathroom was clean, though. Beds were hard, and my daughter's bed had a stain in the sheets. Smelled weird. She slept on top of the covers and used one of our own blankets to cover herself with.
It was expensive for what we got.
The breakfast was very good, though. We were grateful for that. We still had 8 hours until we got home. So, I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're traveling with a pet. The room next to us had two dogs that barked all night.
Food & drinks: Very good hot breakfast, great variety, and they offered it from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m.

It's easy to find. The staff was all very nice. I was a bit worried it might be noisy because I could hear our neighbor's TV in the hallway, but there was no external noise in the room. Beds were super comfy. It was a very good stay!

My husband and I booked a room here after seeing the great reviews. From our phone call with Amber (huge shout out - she was friendly, informative and caring - even asked if we’d had dinner yet and suggested several restaurants noting her personal favorites -just the perfect beginning to our stay) to check out was great. Room was clean, comfortable bed, and really nice hot breakfast (eggs appear to be powder eggs but a lot of hotels do this). So glad we booked a room here. Will stay here again anytime we’re in Amarillo.

Safety: Safe area
Food & drinks: Lots of close restaurants
Noteworthy details: No elevator - but stairs are good exercise. Just something to note if you’re lugging something heavy.

Checked in after 9pm. Was greeted warmly. There was fresh popped popcorn available. Such a unique and great gesture. Got to our room and it was clean and smelled good. Not musty like other BW and hotels we’ve been to. Towels were actually clean too. AC blew cold all night for us. Shower was actually clean too. I was told it was remodeled 10 years ago. If true, it’s still really clean and I would have thought it was a more recent renovation. When we pass through Amarillo again this is where we will stay. Breakfast was a great selection and the staff was very kind and sweet. I mean everyone we interacted with this morning was smiley and kind. They even gave my son a cute little treasure box for the ride on the road today. Certainly the best BW we have been to. Other managers/owners should come experience it and copy. Great job to BW Santa Fe in Amarillo.

There was popcorn, cookies and strawberry cucumber water available.
The area was safe. The room was clean and comfortable. Rooms are big and spacious too.
