Never again will I TRY To buy from them. They tell you they will do one thing and when vehicle arrives they change it up for you to make you not buy it. Everything was good to go ready to pick up and the management says he won’t do it just because he wants me to finance with them or pay cash only. John Thurlow was a very nice salesman and did everything he was suppose to, but management is a joke there. Surprised he hasn’t quit yet. FYI If you’re not financing with them, just save your time and look elsewhere. I can write more but I’m over this place.

This was our first experience ordering a vehicle online. We used the GM website to build the truck. We then sent the order out online and received an answer within a very short time from Brown GMC in Amarillo, Tx. The salesperson was Chad Amundgaard, this turned out to be one of the best experiences of our life. Everyone worked with us to makes sure that we got exactly what we wanted with no sales pressure. We will definitely be going back to this dealership with any of our future needs!

Do not use the Service Dept. Mother-in-law took her car because a Service light was on and it was sluggish and hard to start. They did their computer check and said it was the battery which cost her over $300.00. When she picked it up they told her they went through it and everything was fine now. She drove it home and parked it because we went out of town for a couple weeks. The first time she started it up after we got back, the service light came on again so, she took it back. This time they told her the valve cover was leaking and they had to replace the valve cover, intake manifold and a bad wiring connection. This cost her another $2400.00. She asked me to go with her because she didn't understand if they checked it out and everything was fine before we went out of town, and left it parked, why didn't they catch all the other things the first time? I asked the service person for the parts because we wanted to see why these needed to be replaced. They could not show us the parts. They said they threw them away and the dumpster had already been picked up. (What a surprise.) I told her she had to pay because she told them to go ahead do the work but, I also told the Serviceman and the Service Manager that we were going to tell everyone we knew how Brown Pontiac rips off elderly ladies. DO NOT EVER use the Service Dept here at Brown Pontiac. we never will again..

For close to a year, I have tried to get a piece for my cover, that GMC said they would take care of, because it was installed with them. I have been told by multiple service agents that they would take care of it and it has yet to be resolved.This week I took it in as the truck would not start and had to pay to get it towed. They couldn’t figure out what happened and upon returning my vehicle it had boot prints and hand print all over it. The worse part is that is smelled like gasoline for a week.Today I took the vehicle in because of emails I was receiving that it needed service. I took it in and I was told that booking online is not a real appointment. Because I used the online booking system they would have to fit me in and it would be roughly 5 hours to get the vehicle back. He told me that my vehicle didn’t even need any maintenance.This service department is needing to be retrained. It seems like there is some mismanagement and they are left to say and do what they please.

Donnovan gave me a great experience at Brown Automotive Group. Never felt pressured while checking out the vehicle. He was able to negotiate and get me a term I could afford. Paul was able to get me an awesome 3 year warranty package on my certified pre owned. Everyone was welcoming and professional through the process. I had originally made an appointment to test drive an entirely different vehicle, but left the same day in a better one. Highly recommend this place of business.

Lack of communication, it took my husband calling and my father going up there to get any kind of response after leaving a voice mail & text on my own 48 hours before. My appointment was at 8 AM on Monday. I did not hear anything until my father went up there and confronted the service department on Thursday. They still hadn’t got to my car that again had an appointment on Monday at 8am. My dad went to give my glasses to be put in my car that weren’t even put in my car they were left on the desk in the office but I did not receive them when I picked up my car so I had to make another trip to Brown which is 2 hours away.We bought my Yukon brand new from Chad and he has not been helpful since i picked it up. This will be our last purchase from brown after my last 5 vehicles were all from Brown. Very disappointed.They did find the problem and fixed it in good time once the vehicle was actually looked at, just so disappointed in the people and communication.

Thomas went above and beyond to ensure we got the truck that best suited our family's needs without the pressure of getting into something we couldn't afford. We defiantly felt valued as a customer and not just another number walking through the doors.John was amazing in helping us get all of our financial paperwork sent through when Thomas was unable to be in office that day. He went through everything with a fine tooth comb, leaving no room for error.We will for sure be back for future purchases!

Every available salesman that was able to talk to me did so. That's not to say it was bothersome. Quite the contrary, I was in yard work clothes and still I was treated fantastic. Need a new or pre-owned car, go see these guys!!
