Very quiet hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The desk staff was very helpful. Dog friendly plenty of places outside to take them on a walk. Breakfast was pretty fresh with lots of selections. Safe property. Good location off the highway easy to get to we will be back when we are in town.

Staff and service was great.
We stayed 2 nights and for the most part it was great, the only negative, is that it's being remodeled. I wish I would've known that before I booked. It did have a smell, as if there was water damage, but that could just be the construction and tearing things up.
I am sure once the remodeling is complete, it'll be even better.

This hotel is under remodel right now! Both times that we have stayed here, they have been under construction
The stays were months apart, and nothing had changed about the place. Big boxes crowded the breakfast area and down the first floor hallways. The rooms we stayed in were very rundown and had fixtures in the bathroom that someone tried reparing but couldn't with lots of very noticeable bad patch work on the walls and ceiling. Outside looks a lot better than our rooms did! I suggest waiting at least six months from this review before staying at this place.

They are turning this place into a Hilton. For me, Hilton is business and suits with neck-strangling ties. Not a vacation stop for me.

Had a wonderful stay. Room was nice clean and cool. Breakfast was much better than most, love my biscuits and gravy. We have stayed at 2 different Comfort suites on this trip, and they were the best hotels we stayed at on our cross-country move.

Me and my boyfriend came here from Minnesota, we were not planning on staying in hotels but we did because of the heat. The only good thing we got out of this was the ac and the front desk. The front desk worker was very sweet but when we walking into our room there was dead cockroaches all over. We then got a new room and the worker was very friendly about giving us a new room. When getting into the new room the bed was stained, there was no smoke alarm (it was broken off the wall hanging), the bathroom walls and everything else was stained, there was a lot of water damage and mold and so much more. I ended up having to pile up my blankets on the bed and hope for the best.

We stay the days 15-16 of August. We are surprised that the loundy are free. The hotel and our room smell very good and clean too. The breakfast look nice and tested good and another surprise is the potetoes in the manu and the texas state map on the waffle machine they have cholote too. One suggestion is we were ready to wash our clothes last night, but the washer machine on the 3rd floor doesn't work correctly. ? I realized that I tried to wash at 11pm the sign said until 10pm. But the door opened with the room key. So I have to wash the clothes because tomorrow we have to leave early. Anyways I go downstairs and ask the guy in the front if he had the little car for loundy because the machine only takes water and doesn't work. I translate all the wet clothes to the 2nd floor machine. Everything was very good afterward.
It's very much better than other comfort inn on the all that we visited before. Thank you.

Overall I’m happy with the stay, but the cleanliness is why I gave 3 stars. I hate staying in a hotel that feels dirty. The carpet is disgusting, just stepping on it barefoot feels so gross! There are stains all over it, discolored all over, and the fibers are smashed in, you can tell it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The couch has stains all over it, so I had to put a towel down to sit on it. The walls have stains and just look dirty, I didn’t feel comfortable in here, I was comfortable enough to stay and sleep, but I won’t be coming back unless they remodel, which I think they might be because when you walk into the front of the hotel they have pallets everywhere, so I’m hoping it’s new flooring. The bed was comfortable but also when I got into it, it just felt humid. The hotel has a weird musty smell. The free breakfast was better than most, lots of options, it’s from 6:30-9:30. I’m not trying to crap on the place too bad, but if you’re a clean freak like me and think hotels should be immaculate then this isn’t for you. The staff is very nice and accommodating, my husband had to work, they gave us another hour for a late check out. The location is good because it’s right off the highway.
Rooms: The king room we had has a little seating area with couch, chair, and coffee table with a partition that leads to the bed with 2 night stands, tons of lamps and plugs, a little closet with hangers, an iron, and luggage rack. It had a desk with chair, great for working, a decent sized TV, small dresser, another space with a small bar that has the coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, ice bucket. The bathroom is a good size, nice shower head, has a blow dryer. The only issue is the cleanliness.
Food and drinks: Pretty good free breakfast that includes sausage, eggs, potatoes, gravy, biscuits, 3 types of cereal, milk, yogurt, apple juice, orange juice, water, chocolate and original waffle batter, bananas, apples, oranges, bagels, toast, muffins, English muffins, all roasts of coffee.

When we arrived, I noticed that they were in the process of remodeling. Once we got in our room, it was noticed that there were no bath towels in the room. Also, the bathroom trash can had not been emptied. Then we noticed a 3 x 3 foot spot over the shower that was black mold. We could have gotten another room, but it would have been on another floor. We decided to stay here in order to stay close to our son and grandchildren. The next morning, we got up to take a shower but was unable to take a shower. The people above us was showering, and drain water was dripping black mold water from the ceiling, into our tub. It was actually leaving black rings in the tub from the dripping water. We have the photos to prove it. We were told that remodeling was being done on the fourth floor, but we were on the second floor. This excuse doesn't fly. This room should not be given out until the water leak is repaired and the black mold issue is addressed. Room 205.

Did this hotel recently experience flooding or something? Everywhere you walked, there was a strong musty smell. Construction material is piled all over the lobby and breakfast area leaving nowhere to sit down. Our room smelled like smoke and mildew. There was fuzzy mold growing all over the ceiling in the bathroom. Unsightly dry wall patches littered the walls, as well. I would not stay here again.

The facility is a sweat box, the ac in the room barely works, the lobby and halls are full of construction materials, the TV in the room required someone to show me how it works, and the bathtub in the room for disabled had no friction so my wife could not get out of her bath.
I came here and paid 156.00
Certainly not worth it keep driving.

I was pleasantly surprised at my room last night. Very affordable, close to I-40. Room had recently been remodeled (still remodeling-materials all over the 1st floor, but that didn't affect me). Very quiet. The clerk asked if i had a dog with me. When I told her no, she chose to put me on the non-dog floor. Will be staying here again in the future.

Place is not maintained. No door stopper for the room door and leaking shower. Very rude staff and bad food. Skip the hotel.
Rooms: Smells like cigarettes and no door lock.
Shower head leaking water all flooring and slippery. Complaining did not get any better.
Safety: No door lock
