The best Veterinarian Clinic in Amarillo hands down! After moving to Amarillo I struggled to find quality care that my fur babies deserved! I had been to a couple of different vets whom were ok but not the care I expect! From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by the friendliest receptionist staff! We have become very fond of Shelby! We had never met her before and she has made us feel like apart of the family! My dog Vader and cat Kylo adore her! All of the Veterinarians at the clinic are top notch but the two I use are Dr Hardy whom had went to extensive lengths to help us with our very sick cat pearl! We will never forget her compassion and care and patience with us as we had to in the end make a pretty tough choice! And she is so good with our Vader! Dr Webb is incredible with our cats and my cat in particular Kylo truly loves her! From the receptionist to the Vet Techs to the Veterinary staff they don't just make you feel like money they make you feel like family! Of course things are expensive that's ti be expected! No great care comes at a cheap price! I will never take my pets anywhere but here!!

This place is the Vet clinic I will go to from now on. Amazing friendly staff and the waiting time is not at all like my previous vet clinic (I will give no names) I can actually go in on my lunch hour to get the specific cat food I need and be out in just a few moments. When my cat was in pain, we did not have to wait 4 to 5 hours for them to see him. They are very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, Animal Medical Center.

We were from out of town but visiting friends there and our little guy had an unfortunate fall and fractured his pelvis in multiple spots. We called and they got us right in without an appointment. Dr. Dai McWhorter and staff were so wonderful to get him on some medication and discussing his radiographs with us and the medication was perfect to keep him stable until he saw a specialist. He's going in for surgery today but I really want to express my gratitude towards doctor and team. For not knowing who to see in a crisis and having that level of care I just wanted to extend our appreciation. Our family is so grateful!

The staff and the doctors are really nice and helpful. My only problem is that they don't tell you about the hidden costs until after the procedures. For an example, I signed up my two cats for the $20 Paw plan and after I Saw the vet doctor, they told me there was a $50 membership fee for each cat so instead of it costing me $40, I paid $150. Same thing also applied when I had my dog neutered. They put the wrong cone on him after his surgery and when I went back to get the correct con they charged me $15 for their mistake. After arguing with the lady over the phone, She refunded me my money. Just be careful of the hidden costs. They will not tell you unless you ask. And that's just bad business! Update: After somebody from the vet office responded to my Review, you still didn't answer the question on why you guys have hidden fees. Your response says absolutely nothing about my current post. Trying to offer the best vet clinic doesn't mean anything if you're going to spring hidden fees on somebody. Just wanted to give everybody an update 9/17/21 I called the vet office and ask them why I was continued to be charged on my credit card. The way it was explained to me was that when you take advantage of a service, they charge you a small fee every month until that service has been paid off and then you will not be charged again until you take it vantage of another service. They have charged me monthly for services that I have not used. That's unacceptable and I will be touching base with Citibank to get all of my money back! I don't understand how a business can run like this! Why are you taking money from people when you don't have the legal right to! I have two cats! Why in the hell did I get charged 3 times! Here's the proof that they steal from people!

I am very saddened to hear about Evees death. They rushed her out before they closed after her c-section. This vet didn't even give Amber a phone number to call if something happened. #justiceforevee Do not bring your dog here for a c-section!

Whoever gave this vet 1 star never even met her. She’s not even employed at the clinic listed. AMC is a 5 star clinic. And Dr. Harrison is a 5 star vet. We are so lucky to have her at PETS and more importantly, the animals are lucky to have her.

As soon as we got our puppy,Star, we brought her to Animal Medical Center. Star was only 3 months old at the time and now she is a 1 year old. She has had her vaccines, her check ups, she was chipped and spayed here. Each visit we felt like Star was getting the very best care. They even clipped her nails. The Center is clean and very tidy. Everyone smiles and greets you. There's even an area for us to get coffee. The waiting room is nice and comfy. I highly recommend this place.

I am always amazed when someone goes above and beyond for their customers. Shelly at Animal Medical Center is the best. She took a bad experience with a dog experiencing anxiety and turned it around. You can tell she loves her job and her skills working with animals are unmatched in my opinion. Just got a follow up call from her to check on Ollie's eyes which were red and swollen. He is 100% better and Animal Medical Center is the best!!

While driving across country my dog became very ill. I called Animal Medical Center at 4pm to see if I could get my girl in that day and they said sure, come on in. The front staff promptly checked us in and the vet saw her within a matter of minutes. She ran blood work and we decided to keep her there overnight for observation. This kind of customer and medical service is amazing. Thank you!

Awesome . These guys care about animals. It has been my experience that many vet clinics perform unnecessary procedures for the almighty dollar. This is not a wallet chopping type of place. They actually care. Shelly might be the nicest person, kind and gentle
