Stopped to get a tire fixed. The employee was less than enthusiastic to be at work helping people. The interaction was less than pleasant.

On a road trip and an out of towner with another 400 miles left to get to our final destination. Our check engine light came on. After getting a dismal response from Christain Brothers Automotive down the street, where they said that they could run a diagnostic but could not give me a time other than before they closed at 6pm, we saw this place after grabbing a coffee at Starbucks across the street. After calling and explaining our situation, they told me that they could look at it and run a diagnostic within the hour. We dropped the other dismal service center and came here. The customer service here was 100 times better than the previous place. Not only were they able to identify the issue, but they were also able to get the part and fix our vehicle so we could finish the rest of our trip. Mind you, this was all done well before the 6pm time that Christian Brothers Automotive gave us to even determine what was wrong with our vehicle. Shout out to Sergio, our mechanic. Very good and exceptional at explaining what was wrong and why, to include fixing it. Anyone going through Amarillo and are in need of automotive services, I highly recommend Firestone Complete Auto Care. The customer service here was great and appreciated!!!

I have been to this Firestone location on two different occasions, and I have to say that the service is dismal at best.
The first visit was to repair a tire, that I could have gotten done for free at the Discount Tire down the road, but I figured I would save time by paying someone to do it, but oh was I wrong.
I was told it would take about 30 minutes to get to it, but 30 minutes turned into 90. As I was sitting in the waiting area, I had to listen to the two guys working the desk discussing some inappropriate topics. I don't get offended easy, but there is a time and place for everything.
Tonight I stopped by again to get my state inspection done as they are one of the few accredited places open after 6pm.
I walked up to the service representative and told him that I needed a state inspection done, and was answered with an abrupt "NOT TODAY". No "sorry we are busy", or "we wont be able to get to it today", simply a "NOT TODAY".
I will never do business with this location, or any Firestone for that matter. I would NOT recommend this place!

Made an appointment then had to reschedule the appointment due to a technician calling in. Then when I showed up for said appointment I was told all technicians left. Why reschedule an appointment when technicians are gone?

I called the night before to make an appointment to have the transfer case and transmission fluid exchanged as well as changing my oil that they recommended that needed to be done. He said to drop it off and it would be taken care of. I took it in and was told that they would not change the fluid. He said that I would have to show proof that I had it done every 30,000 miles for them to consider doing it. I was forced to take it to one of your competitors for the transmission and transfer case work I was charged over $126.00 for the oil change. I don't plan on coming back.

Setting the appointment was easy to use, showed up for the appointment, greeted nicely, was in and out in like 40 minutes, hassle free.

I just have to say that these guys were awesome!! They were open on Sunday thank goodness! We were traveling back home to Colorado and needed an oil change and the first place we stopped we were told that the oil plug had been cross threaded by the last place that changed our oil and that they couldn’t help us!! I called this Firestone and talked to Joe and he told us they would do their best to help us and that’s exactly what they did!! He got on the phone and found us a new oil pan and it didn’t arrive until 10 minutes before they closed but they went above and beyond and stayed late to get us back on the road!! Thank you guys so much!! I would recommend this location to anyone! I know where we will be going to get our oil changed from now on because we frequent Amarillo!! See you next time guys!! Thanks again!!

They did a great job in a relatively short time. When finished they double checked to make sure everything was right and when they found a problem with the new battery, they replaced it.

I like Firestone on S. Coulter street in Amarillo because they are always efficient. I've used this location for several years. I've also referred several people to them also because I've been so pleased. However on this last particular trip there was a couple items not addressed I asked for.
