Since the merger deposit and withdrawal move a little slower but other than that things are good. I have been with Wells Fargo and Amarillo National before and I will definitely stick with Happy for the months after their changeover before I would go back to those banks.

I fell victim to an employment scam which left me with almost $8,000 of debt. I talked with, I believe, the manager of this location, Valerie, about it but since I didn't have a job at that point I couldn't tell her what I would be able to pay back yet. After the first couple times talking to her though, I couldn't get a hold of her anymore. I talked with another employee about what would happen but she wasn't sure because the Happy State Bank system was being bought by centennial bank so she said they would call me back the next week. They didn't, and I've been calling for almost 2 weeks and emailing with no response whatsoever. I guess I'll have to call a different location but I would rather have worked with someone who already knew the situation instead of starting over.

Was taking care business for my store through the drive thru and made all the way to my store only to find that she didn't put all the change i needed for my store. I called and she insisted that everything was balanced on her end. I went up there and went straight into the lobby, where she insisted that everything was good on her end. It took her manager to tell her, through their messaging system on the computer, to give me my missing change.

Well this sell out went great I can’t use the online banking deal to find out how much money is in my account and the happy bank. Com deal isn’t working either I think I’ll pack up and go somewhere else to do my banking from now on

Happy State Bank is the bomb. Have banked with them since high school. Have been all over the US and overseas and never once have had any issues despite them being a local bank. Don’t plan on banking anywhere else. 10/10 recommend!!

Be aware of one thing if you are depositing a check and you don't know the person who gave it to you. Be sure to ask the right questions if you're not certain about whether the check is good or not because you are responsible and you will necessarily have an unpleasant experience a week or so later if you don't ask the right questions.They will not voluntarily take that extra step to warn you if a check is not good and that check takes a week or so to be totally verified where you are no longer at risk.
