Update on Havertys: Kelly, the manager had left a message he was going to check into getting something done on getting my recliner repaired, however has since started distancing himself from the issue. GUARDSMAN has approved repair abs told Havertys to order the part, which Guardsman has informed me is on a slow boat from China. Havertys has never gotten back to me on this or returned my calls. This is a switch that can be ordered through various places for 39.00- 50.00. Havertys could have gotten this part a month ago if they were that concerned about a customer. Point is Havertys sold the protection plan, but they are not going to go out of there way to make things right. Suggestion, dobt buy a protection plan. Get the oart number, order it on Amazon and watch a youtube on repairing yourself, saving hundreds of dollars and months of waiting for Guardsman or Havertys to do anything.
Update as of 4/21/25:
Store manager returned call and said they are looking for part else where to beat ship date out of China 6/20/25. I told him Ebay has it. They may not want to expedite after all. Ebay not on their shopping list. Back to waiting til June.

We're setting up for our retirement and just built a new lake house, so we were faced with a completely bare house and felt overwhelmed in the beginning. But Samantha Hawksworth did a fantastic job making us feel at ease--helping us find our groupings on the floor and looking up information and details on the computer. She has such a great eye for fabrics and styles, and was so patient, especially considering we changed our mind on things several times; she never once complained about having to update our order. And Brittani Wilson did a beautiful job with the mockup and design aspects. We appreciate them both so much! The sales people are worse than used car salesman. They WON'T leave you alone to look around. I don't like being hounded while I'm shopping.
Being stalked throughout the store does not encourage me to buy.

I recently purchased a chair from Havertys Furniture and, unfortunately, the experience has been quite disappointing. The chair broke after a short period of use, specifically the spring for the footrest. Despite paying extra for the warranty, the process of getting it repaired has been frustratingly slow.
I filed a warranty claim over a week ago and have yet to receive any communication from Havertys. Additionally, I discovered that they do not offer any repair services, leaving me without any immediate solutions. It has now been over a month since the chair broke, and I am still waiting for a resolution.
Given the premium price and the extra cost for the warranty, I expected much better service and support. This experience has left me questioning the value and reliability of Havertys Furniture. I hope they improve their customer service and warranty handling in the future.
