I bought a diamond and emerald ring June of 2023. My wife noticed one of the emeral stones had fallen out. We went to the Kay Jewelers in Westgate Mall in Amarillo Tx. We were quickly told it would cost over $400.00 to replace the stone. I paid $750.00 for the whole ring. It has only been 7 months since I bought it. I guess Kay doesn't stand behind the junk jewelry they sell. I will never grace their door with my presence again.

Horrible customer service.... went to go look at a new possible bridal set for our anniversary. The sales women told me I can only see the two pieces one by one, which in my mind is if I'm going to get a bridal SET I'd like to see how it looks pieced together. So needless to say I didn't waste my money if I couldn't see it together completely. Felt very profiled becuase of my family and the way she had treated us. We've never had this type of customer service before and have been able to try on bridal sets together.

My husband purchased my engagement ring at Kay’s about 8 years ago. I looked down the other day and one of the stones had fallen off of the band. No big deal, it is under warranty. I brought it into the store, the associate that helped us was very kind but could not pull up our account to see when it had been inspected last. This has happened to us every single time since we got the ring. It is a hassle every time. We explained the situation, she took the ring and said the manager would call us and that it would be up to the managers discretion…she told us the only reason she could think of for her not to approve it is because they have an audit coming up so her manager is trying to “follow the rules”.Devin, the manager, called me today to let me know that they will not replace the stone even though there was a mix up with the inspection that was the stores fault. She was so condescending and not genuine when she was talking to me. She tried to give me a lesson on how to manage my email folders, it was so rude and out of line. I do not have an issue managing my email- I just never received a confirmation email due to an account mix up.Knowing that it is a simple fix, but she will not take accountability for the mix up is beyond frustrating. I have done everything on my end and the company is not following their own warranty policy.
