“The woman that took my blood was incredibly kind and talkitive. I was sent to this location on Georgia Street because my nurse practitioner's phlebotomist unfortunately could not find a vein. That was my fault because I was dehydrated, so they sent me to this Georgia Street LabCorp location because they knew that they specialized in problem veins like mine.
I wish I had gotten the name of the phlebotomist, but she made something that can be very uncomfortable into a very relaxing situation. She ended up putting a warm compress on my hand to help the veins open up, and then she was able to get the blood that she needed without any problems. I would highly recommend this location. One thing that I truly enjoyed about the phlebotomist was that she is an animal lover and we talked about that as I had my blood taken. It took my mind off of what is very hard for me to do. Having needles stuck into my arm or hand is one of my biggest fears.”
