I'm usually not the one that leaves a bad review but here we go.
So I went to Murphy's gas station just the other day and I started to notice that my car was running really bad.
I'm not thinking much of it so I put my code scanner on the car and I noticed that the code scanner was reading out to me misfire on a cylinder fuel injector misfire. Me thinking like a mechanic I automatically assumed it was the massair flow sensor. $75 part and it was not it. Started thinking what if it's the gas so I went to different gas station.And Put premium gasoline still the car ran like it did before. Little to my knowledge I needed to put more better gas from a different gas station in my gas tank. What do you know the next day the car ran smooth. After I put premium gas in there from a different gas station and some cleaner and a mass air flow sensor. Not thinking I went back this morning and I got more gas from the gas station that I usually go to Murphy's on Georgia in Amarillo Texas as soon as I go take off my check engine lights flashing at me telling me the same exact code and car running really bad. For anybody that goes to Murphy's on Georgia and i- 27 in Amarillo Texas to check the gas before you put it in your car. It could potentially cause your car to cost you a lot of money in parts and labor. I've been going to that gas station for a long time. Thank you Murphy's for costing me over a hundred bucks and parts and luckily I am the mechanic so I don't have to pay for mechanic hours on my vehicle. I will not continue my business with Murphy's gas station.

For weeks now none of the soft drinks or energy drinks listed in the rewards app have been available for purchase. Guess I will go elsewhere for both drinks and gas. This has been the case for all Amarillo and the Canyon location.

Extremely poor customer service tonight. I walked in and was not greeted. Didn’t see anyone at register so looked at other and saw it was closed. Went back to the other and saw the employee sitting in a chair on her phone. I said “oh so sorry I didn’t even see you there!” She said nothing. I asked for what I needed. She still said nothing. Finally asked if I had a number so I put it in. Then showed the coupon I had. She scanned it. Told me my total. Asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no. She didn’t say anything in response. She seemed very put out that I was bothering her…. Everyone else is always friendly, but this Particular lady has yet to ever be so.

Standard Walmart fuel experience, typically lower prices than surrounding areas. Additional 10 cents off per gallon with a Walmart Plus membership. Pumps aren't that old but seem pretty used, everything is functional though. 24 hour self service.

I am a Walmart+ member. It doesn't work here. Cashier couldn't help. Bathrooms were out of order. We were traveling through and came out of our way to get here.

Don't stop here. No restrooms! What's the point of being a gas station if you can't open your restrooms to highway travelers? I would have gladly not wasted my precious pre-urination time and skipped this stop had I known.
