When this was owned by Pete, I had the greatest experience. Months ago I had a check engine light come on my new engine so I called. They told me that the mechanics were out for the week so I need to just go to Auto Zone and see what was wrong and maybe I could fix it myself. ???? So I did and we fixed it ourselves. This week I have a check engine light come on again. I went to OReillys and got the read. I called the service dept (was on hold 25 minutes and hung up, called back and they said they would have them call me, and I just had to call back 24 hours later when they never called me!). When I spoke to someone and told them what I had going on and asked for the cost of the repair, I was told I would have to pay the $160 to run the diagnostics on it (just like I had just done!!). Then it would be a separate charge to fix it. Needless to say, I’ll just move oil changes and all to somewhere else. It’s sad that I’m disappointed in what used to be a great car dealership.

Nice and friendly employees. Took care of the recalls for me. Did have one issue. I received a call to back. Then I ended up calling back 3 times over a hour time period, to finally get someone to tell me that my car was ready.

The service department is terrible. Our car sat here for several days just for a new battery. We have to physically go into the shop to get anyone to talk to us about the status. We call several times a day and get a voicemail and no call back. Do not recommend.Update: it’s now been two weeks that my car has sat here. I showed up in person to take my car whether the work was done or not and they couldn’t find the keys or paperwork! .. for a second time! The day the tow truck dropped off the car at 11am, I had to go over at 5pm to find out what the heck was going on because I was told over the phone they had no record of my car being there and certainly didn’t have the keys - to which she had magically found them by the time I got there.

Don’t fall for these high reviews, they were prior reviews when Pete owned KIA in Amarillo. We purchased a 23’ Carnival and after 9k miles, two of the tires are close to bald. After taking it back in they said it was on us to replace the tires. Brand new tires on a brand new vehicle don’t need replacement after 9 months of ownership. Our air filter had to be replaced after 4 months… The customer service to get anything accomplished has been horrendous. The service center lies about services performed (such as tire rotation) and then point the finger. We’ve filed a corporate complaint and if needed will gladly take a legal route. They also say they bend over to the demands of angry customers - while I was told I’m an angry person multiple times by the service center manager in the parking lot of the dealership. The risk to reward is not worth it and you’re better off going to another KIA dealership. If I could, this would be a 0 star.

thieves, they currently mailed out a supposed contest that they rigged intentionally to where you can't win, they just want to waste your time and try to get you to buy a car, I get it that's the gimmick of it, supposably on the instant scratch off to see if you're an instant winner that they advertise allows them to change the contest rules anytime!!! It's in the small print of, me and my wife went believing that they were going to actually hopefully do the right thing and they DID NOT. Anybody that works there was even aware of it and they just allow it! Their character is terrible because of the supposed instant money that we won it was never evenReal!!! The management team should be ashamed of themselves to operate like that openly to the public!!! I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this facility for they do not even have true character to even operate an honesty to what they put in front of people!!!PS they're going to put a response on here that is actually driven by an A.I. that's generated from internet software seriously doubt they actually took the time to even care to put a real response. They're no better and no different than the Communists crooks that are currently running our country.

I have purchased 3 Kia vehicles from this place. I have never had a bad experience. I was treated with respect, Rage " The Mustache Guy" Williams is awesome he is a very respectful young man. He went to bat for us and got us an awesome deal. If your looking for a good deal and want to be treated fairly and respectfully look no further than Kia of Amarillo, ask for Rage you won't be disappointed.

I have to brag on the customer service and on the service department at Kia I received this week. I went in mid-afternoon without an appointment to see if I could get my oil changed. I was happy to be told yes, if I didn’t mind a little wait. They offered fresh hot popcorn or coffee while I relaxed in their comfortable waiting room. This visit when the service folks came to say my car was ready, I was surprised to find they had washed my car and windows, and vacuumed the interior. A-Plus for a job really well done.

It’s hard to get an appointment and get them to talk to you on the phone. Service has gone downhill a lot sense Pete car, smart phone would not recommend buying car from them. One positive note Britney the new service writer is doing a much better job and they’ve had the last two visits

Almost three hours seems like a long wait for an oil change and service checkup when I already had an appointment. I didn’t just drive in off the street. The service rep explained to me they were waiting for a filter. Hmmm…The employees don’t seem very happy but I’ll go back because I have a warranty.They did a good job. I guess I’m comparing the place to what it was like under the previous owner when service was prompt and courteous and the employees were friendly and happy.

Crystal was great!! She was able to have my car completed and fixed days before I was expecting it to be done!!! This was a tremendous help, and I am grateful to do service with Kia.

Dropped our 4Runner off for its usual oil change. They were super busy that day but Crystal was so helpful and sweet even though you could tell she was having to do 15 things at once! She kept good communication throughout the day and when I picked up my car at 5 it was ready to go! Crystal still had the best attitude even though she had been slammed all day. We are so thankful for smiling faces every time we go in Kia!Will & Larissa Groves
