Hours: Petro Fuel Island is a place with mixed emotions, offering both great experiences and significant drawbacks. The repair shop is highly recommended and reliable, with great and helpful folks. The fuel island store provides hot food, including excellent pork chops, goulash, and good double cheeseburgers, served by nice and pleasant staff. The restroom is clean and the area is well-lit with ample parking. However, there are consistent issues. The diesel and DEF pumps often need fixing, and fuel islands are sometimes closed for maintenance. The cashiers at the fuel desk can be rude with a nasty attitude, particularly toward lady drivers, while being overly friendly with male drivers. The shower facility is a joke, described as a gross, super gross, nightmarish jail cell that is not clean, with water that backs up. There is also no grass or dog area, only goathead infested crabgrass. Customers must check expiration dates on store products, as expired medication has been sold. Prices for food can also seem high.
