When your hotel room is large than a one bedroom apartment, this hotel is for you. Staybridge Suites in Amarillo is an amazing place to stay at if you need a place to get away or you are just passing through. The rooms are amazing! The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the staff are the friendliest on earth. I highly recommend this place. It's the tops!

To our surprise the shower head was duck taped on . It fell on my moms head as she was showering . We called to front desk for towels . Then house keeping came and told us there were no towels available and when are we leaving. Keep in mind we payed extra for late check out and it was 10:30 not even past normal check out time . When going to front desk to let them know about the shower and rude housekeeper we were basically told to bad there is no manager on duty we could call to make a complaint ,then sent us on our way .

Friendly receptionist. Washer/ Dryers bad shape. Washers don't work or wring clothes out. Dryers don't dry. Had a suite it was ok comfortable. But rooms needs attention. Paint caulking. Bedroom TV didn't work. Front door lobby had a strange odor like sewer gas... I would stay again..

Prior to Covid this hotels breakfast was superb. Now we use flimsy plastic wasteful utensils, and the food is relatively junk. Compared to what it used to be. Are used to stay at Staybridge for the breakfast but now it’s not worth the money.

The front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. Great place. Breakfast was almost gone when we got there but very busy.

I would've given 4 stars for the bedding alone. The soft, plushy pillows and bedding were a giant marshmallow inviting me in. Alas, I only dream about dreaming because THE NOISE!!I don't know if they are upstairs or behind me (eta: they're upstairs) but the stomping and bumping (and dropping whatever it was couple minutes ago) is so bad I grabbed all the bedding and TRIED to sleep on the couch. No better and I'm furious. Two nights, a little under 7 hours COMBINED sleep. As soon as I fall asleep, some leadfoot and their partner(s) decide they need something from across the room and stomp ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE FLOOR TO GET IT. Then stomp all the way back.It was so bad the first night I was sure they were doing 'adult' business due to the bumping that went on & off the whole damn night. So disappointing. I really wanna pass out in this plushy cocoon I've created on the couch. I'm too tired/lazy to repack and move to another room, nor should I have to.BTW, a I'm typing this, it's 3:52am on night two. I'm noticing I haven't heard them banging in about 20 minutes. It's seems quiet now. Let's try this AGAIN.7:35am, slept like an infant because apparently, Leadfoot and the crew upstairs FINALLY did too.I came to reviews to see if it's just a one of situation. It's not. Should've checked previously to see that several others have made the same complaint over the years. Weird TBH. I travel frequently for work but never experienced this specific issue. Maybe request a top floor moving forward. Also, bring bottled water. The tap water is not delicious (my opinion..YMMV).So aside from the noise upstairs I could have really enjoyed my stay. It was otherwise a quiet and peaceful place. Clean room/kitchenette, loved the Dove body care products. The staff was super nice. The breakfast sausage was pretty decent although I could've sworn I smelled bacon....but no bacon.Le sigh.

We stayed here one night passing through. Hotel was dirty, they overcharged us for the pet fee, side entry doors did not work, dog poop all over property. Definitely one of the less well taken care of hotels I’ve stayed at.Update 1/22/24: Tammy, to respond to your message, then for 4 years you have not updated the pet fee on the app. And you refuse to honor the rate posted on the app. Bad business in my opinion. Why would you fight this and alienate a guest?

We stayed here and let me tell you we travel a lot but will not stay here again. While nothing was wrong with our stay, the manager was being a jerk to a customer because she got something on the towels. He was telling her it was a 100 extra. Ridiculous, she was elderly and my husband stepped in as he travels for business a lot and got things on towels several times. Heck, I get mascara on towels and have never been charged. I have spilled Kool-Aid and cleaned it with towels and wasn't charged. But he was insistent this woman pay 100. He needs to be fired, and I hope that lady got it reversed. We will never stay with this hotel chain again.

I am an IHG Elite member and have stayed at many Staybridge across the country; however, we have never experienced what we did last night on our trip from AZ to SC. We arrived and were greeted nice enough. When we received our cards and went up to the room, the first thing I noticed was a strong odor in the halls that I could not place. Let's just say it was not pleasant but not so off-putting as to make me worry. We entered the room and the door was even stronger. I sat down on the couch and immediately noticed only what I can describe as food crumbs on the cushions. My wife went to take a shower but immediately called me to show me the hair and mold on the shower walls. We called downstairs to explain the situation and request a new room. The front desk staff responded with, and I quote, "Damn. I'm sorry man.". They moved us to a new room, where at least the shower was cleaner but the kitchen floor had some sort of sticky substance all over it. At this point, it was late and we were tired and just needed sleep. Did I mention my entire body started to itch as soon as I slipped under the covers? That may have been my mind playing tricks on me, not knowing when the last thorough cleaning took place. They were also nice enough to leave us a partially used tube of "personal lube" in the closet. Please, for the love of all that is good and right, go somewhere else.Rooms: NOT CLEAN

Front desk bad experience. We're members, reserved 2 months in advance. She could not find our reservation. We offered our confirmation #, showed it on my phone. She kept clicking the mouse, clicking the mouse ... asked our name many times. Finally said maybe if we go to online check in. We retrieved that email & did so. OK.... Checked ourselves in. Finally got a key. Was odd. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Evening food not certain days. We had not seen that at other locations. Must be a new thing.

Reasonable price the lobby area was clean. There was a warm, hot breakfast. The room needs a good scrub. They need to use Clorox wipes and a Mr. clean pad. I actually almost went out and bought one. There was no soap on the sink to wash your hands with. there was body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower they could’ve used a few extra towels heavy smells of air freshener trying to cover something up. The hotel is not in the best neighborhood did not feel completely safe and secure at night. The staff at the front desk was very nice.

They had some heavy rains and some of the first floor rooms received a little flooding. We had one but as soon as we brought it ro their attention they were able to swap rooms and was a upgrade. Great staff and very friendly. Breakfast was good!
