The Derrick Event Center in Downtown Amarillo, Texas, offers a quiet atmosphere for business and elegant surroundings. The historic art deco structure surrounds a beautiful art gallery, giving the space next‑level elegance. The owner shows excellent business acumen, great communication, and provides a highly welcoming environment. The layout is amazing, with nicely furnished rooms upstairs and large rooms downstairs for guests to visit and look at the art. It is a great place for weddings or parties. A fundraiser hosted 300 people, with a women's bathroom having two stalls. The large gathering place can be hot.

We were here for a fundraiser. Great spot. But, not sure what they are thinking... 300 people. Half of them women and women's bathroom had 2 stalls

The layout is amazing. Great place for a wedding or any party event. You have rooms that are nicely furnished upstairs and downstairs large rooms for guest to visit and look at the art. It was hot in the large gathering place.

The space is deceiving at first, it holds a lot more people than one would expect. It's small enough to not get lost and large enough to still move around. The only downside was it got a little warm in the main room, the gallery is a good place to go to cool off.
