“I love shopping at Goodwill stores. Especially the store located at Bell Street & I-40 in Amarillo, Texas. The most important attribute that I noticed immediately upon walking into the store was that the staff worked as a unit that helped one another to succeed in helping the customers with their needs and each other to provide a healthy and enjoyable shopping and working atmosphere. It was so impacting to me in a positive way that there has not been 1 day that has passed since recognizing the commerotity amongst the staff members and their doing such a great job with their store duties and customer service, that I don't think about how wonderful that experience was for me. I share this memory with many people when I speak of Goodwill stores or any kind of employee working manners and or processes that businesses and other groups of people perform while working together.One staff member stood out the most to me. She is a cashier lead for this particular location. Her first name is Kara. She shined with absolute caring, professionalism, dedication, honesty, and integrity for herself and everyone around her. She truly is a woman that makes a positive impression and difference for Goodwill Store I-40 fellow employees and customers. The culture of Goodwill truly is alive in this particular store. I say this because, every staff member that I've ever spoken to or who has helped me at this particular store have all shown happiness to help me and have displayed gratitude to me for shopping at Goodwill. I will always remember the wonderful experience of shopping at this store and I will continue to highly recommend this store to others. “Stop in Amarillo restore and gosh you're going to find some Treasures all over. Some of the things that you will find you can't beat that price even if you had a baseball bat. Worth the stop and it's worth to shop while giving back to your Local communities. Thank you for the optimal customer service and amazing prices!!”

“It's not a bad Goodwill store. I almost always find stuff in there. I hear horror stories of the high prices at goodwills and other places so that makes this one not sounds so bad even though their prices have increased about 25% in the last year or two. They seem to get a lot of good quality merchandise in. T-shirts are about $2. Blosses and men's shirts about $4. Pants about $6. I think dresses are about $7 now. Baby clothes range from a dollar to $2.50. linens are pretty reasonable. Dishware and appliances can vary. The employees are fairly nice at least when I go in. At least they have a bathroom at this location. The other location won't let you use their bathroom because they've had bad experiences with people leaving messes.”

“I just love this thrift store more than any others because everyone of the employees are awesome they will go out of there way to help the customers. They also have the best prices in town and are open on Sundays and that to is awesome some people work Monday thru Saturday and off on Sundays.”

“I travel for work so I make it a point to stop at a thrift store whenever I go somewhere that's new to me. I had been exploring the town to see what it had to offer and I spotted this gem from the corner of my eye. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but I had found the area with the books. I picked one that interested me and went to go pay. The book wasn't marked with a price so when I asked how much it would be, this kind woman flipped through it a bit and handed it back to me and said "how about my gift to you?" I'm a long ways away from home and feeling super homesick added with the fact that I had very little money to begin with until payday. Even though it might have not been a big deal, this kind gesture meant so much to me and I know I'll remember it for a long time. I just wanted to thank this woman while also recommending this shop to everyone.”
