Abraham was so helpful and went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me with my move! He made sure that my Ubox was secure and safe for the trip. He was so kind and explained everything perfectly in a way that I would understand. He is an all around great salesman and representative of Uhaul. If you stop by, I would definitely ask for Abraham!

Abraham, Dan the GM, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help take care of us in a difficult situation.
During cross country move from WA to TX, U-Haul trailer was stolen from hotel parking lot. Miraculously, police were able to recover most of the stolen property, find the trailer, and the people responsible (big shout out to Amarillo PD/detective Lambert - kind, caring, and went the extra mile).
The team at uhaul helped collect and store our property until we could pick it up, helped us get situated in a new trailer to finish our drive, and provided us with every item and resource that we needed in order to get the job done. Throughout the process, the team was caring and helpful, and made what was an incredibly upsetting situation more bearable.

Best service from a moving company. Ladies at the front desk are super sweet and understanding. All the men working at this location are very nice as well. Unhaul is the place to go when moving especially this location. 10/10 customer service.

My suggestion is to make the doors on the smaller trailer with out the lip so when loading and unloading you don’t knock yourself out when you hit the top of the door. You are trying to get stuff loaded and for get and just nearly knock yourself out.

I spoke on the phone about making a reservation. My reservation was for a 26ft truck & an auto transport trailer. When I arrived to pick up my reserved truck & trailer they did not have either the truck or the trailer nor did any other uhaul in Amarillo, the people in line next to me had also reserved a truck & said truck was supposed to be checked in that morning but they had no truck or no truck keys. So not only was I leaving without what I had reserved & out my card on hold for but the people next to me as well. All around it was bad. I ended up having to pay $1300 for a truck from Penske & had to leave my vehicle in amarillo because Penske had no trailers. Uhaul, thanks for screwing me. I can say the manager really did try to help but after a while he started blowing me off to deal with other customers/employees.

Worst experience ever! My truck had a trailer attached that wasn’t for my truck. My truck wasn’t clean. Took an hour past when they handed me the keys to drive off. Gas meter was wrong. The link they gave me to change it expired and they couldn’t help and acted like my situation was an inconvenience. I’ve used uhaul for 20years. However next time I’ll try another company in hopes it will be more organized. Uhaul you guys need to do better!!!!( It was the one on 6th st.)
