We have been shopping here for about 10 years. They are always very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They also have the best prices on most of what they carry. Regarding the vehicle towing issues, they have plenty of signage up and they work really hard to make sure they don't have to tow anyone. There is always more to the story, if you care to dig into it a little more.

These people are vindictive. I just witnessed them have an elderly lady’s car towed for parking in their lot to eat next door when they were completely CLOSED - not a soul in sight needing their precious parking spaces. I understand if you’re actually open and need the spaces - fine. But if you’re completely closed? That’s just petty and ridiculous. Will never support this place just because of this.

customer service is the WORST! this place should be out of business and out of Amarillo! the owner is a total jerk to customers. owner is rude and needs to learn manners and how to be patient.

I had the sweetest experience when I went in for blood type & hormone balancing. I felt seen and understood- very validating when you're wanting to heal your body. someone sat down with me and we talked for a full over about my blood type category and how to feed my body based on that. Y'all definitely go see them. :)

The lady who owns it or manages it is completely rude. I don't like dealing with retched rude people there's enough rudeness in the world today. Instead of being nice and asking she demands. Won't ever step foot in your place lady, move to California

This is one of my go to places when I want thorough information about anything in the way of natural remedies and preventative products. They always give me cheerful in-depth information and never pressure me to buy any given thing. As a result I have bought several items in here that have been helpful to my health. This includes quality loose teas, Celtic Sea salt, organic Ginger , black seed oil and my very first purchase of CBD oil. I'd much rather come in here to get information and products than to go in a smoke shop for a CBD oil with an unknown history. I've learned so much from the conversations I have had with the owners and employees. I might take an interest in something that I hear about from someone else or read about online but when I want the real scoop I come in and ask these people.

This is one of those pseudo-pharmacies that is soaked in misinformation. We were left waiting for 15 minutes to pick up a veterinarian Rx while the customers in front of us received a long drawn out sales pitch for their "holistic all natural medicine". With the time of waiting, there were four employees doing absolutely nothing, but of course had no time at all to help us. Resulting in a longer wait. If your doctor prescribes you something, and you want quick service and legitimacy, have it sent to a Walgreens or CVS or the like.

I have had essential tremors for about 4 years. For about a year and a half, I took Propranolol twice a day. I also have tachycardia and it helped with that and calmed the tremors a little. About a year ago, I was tired of the Rx due to feeling so fatigued all the time. I started taking magnesium and use West Texas magnesium oil which helps keep my BP lowered but I still dealt with the tremors and tachycardia. I also take Selenium and B vitamins. After doing some research, I wanted to try CBD Hemp Extract. I called and West Texas Rx carries the Charlotte's Web Hemp Extract by the Stanley Brothers. I was happy to find a product that I believe is very reliable. WOW! That's all I can say is JUST WOW. I have taken it twice and my head does not shake at all. I can't feel any internal tremors and I can write legibly and move the mouse for my computer in fluid movements versus jerky ones. It gives you a wonderful calming feeling without making you feel "floaty." No side effects whatsoever! I absolutely can not believe how fantastic this product works on my tremors, anxiety and heart rate. My heart rate was 111 prior to starting and it's down in the 80's. I take 4 - 5 drops under the tongue twice a day. I am so thankful to West Texas Pharmacy for their dedication to carrying reliable products and their knowledge and kindness is over the top. Move over Big Pharma!! Back to holistic, natural healing is the best way to go. Thank you WEST TEXAS RX!! Ya'll are the best!!

The first time I came in, I came in with pretty high expectations because so many people talked highly about this place. Every time I entered the store I was greeted by the owners (Sara & Charles Black) both were with a customer. I browsed around until one of them was finished. After Sara was finished with her customer I asked her about magnesium oil. She went in depth about the difference between the liquid & gel as well as the different brands. Sara was very informative & easy to talk to. As someone who uses Young Living Essential Oils I was curious to know about the different oil brands they sale. She mentioned she's been selling oils for a long time & knows how to help an individual by blending the correct oils. My first time coming in I was overwhelmed with what the store had to offer. When Sara was discussing the essential oils she sells I was curious to know more about it however when I got home I forgot their names. (I will call them so I could do my own research) She inquired about my blood type and fortunately I knew what it was. Since she was the same blood type she knew what we weren't supposed to eat (for me it is wheat) as well as what my body needs (iron) I ended up buying coconut milk, magnesium oil in the liquid form & iodine. Later that night, I used the magnesium oil which helped with my arthritic knees. The next morning I used one drop of iodine in my morning water. Obviously, it made me drink more water but you know what?! You are supposed to drink half your weight in ounces. I have seen on their FaceBook page they offer yoga classes, lunch specials & friendly smiles. I instantly fell in love with this place & can't wait to be back!
