I have been using FBCU for about 2 years and I love the customer service. In person or on messenger they are very quick to respond and their Fraud Alert system is very quick to act if there is anything suspicious.

First basin is absolutely amazing and their staff is always so sweet!!! Their car loan application was so easy and everything went so smooth during our process to purchase our new car. I have been a member for two years now and I love it here.

Not happy. Daughter has been banking at FB for more than 10 years. She is in the Military and as such travels. She lost her debit card and rather than wait two weeks for a new card, she went ahead and opened a new account as she was transferring to Japan in a week. She sold her truck while home on leave to a dealer here in town. Check finally shows up and went to deposit it. 9 days, 9 business days they put a hold on the check saying because it was a new accout. I asked them, how long accounts were considered "New" and warranted a 9 day hold on checks deposited, they stated 45 days. I asked if all checks deposited to accounts under 45 days old were put on hold, they stated "No". so i guess it is subjective. I can only assume they are treating her this way because she is military. Such a shame. I would normally point people toward First Basin, but not any more.

I’ve been baking with First Basin for years. And it’s always been an easy and wonderful experience. Drive-thru or in person transactions have always been simple and hasty. I can’t see my self banking anywhere else.
