The Google Maps address was incorrect. The actual sanctuary is across the street from the cemetery and has a whole bunch of crates the dogs are in, without AC/heat. During their open hours, no one was there, and I can't believe that any of the animals are potty trained like the sanctuary claims. Inhumane and ineffective.

If I could give zero stars, I would. There is no contact number, the way I read an official response by owner to some one else's review was nasty and unprofessional,as well as sounded like excuses for why they don't properly do their job. Just got called by an animal control unit last night and a few months ago for two separate dogs that were brought in to the sanctuary back in February, the animal control unit stated the chip had not been reregistered by the sanctuary and all the info still belonging to my fiance, since the dogs that had been adopted off to new homes it should've been done and never was.

So far incomplete. The woman who was attending the dogs was friendly but told us they were closed until March 1st. She was nice enough to give us an application. She told us she would try and get someone to reach out via our email. I will then email them my app. We went on Sunday the only day they were listed as being open. We at least got to see the dogs. They all look healthy and well cared for. Ashame no adopting is going on.

Why would anyone adopt from this company just by reading their responses to the reviews? You can get a feel for the type of business they do by reading their responses. :( very sad.If you truly care about the animals, then try being kind to the people who WANT to adopt them! Whether you are a Volunteer or not, choose to be kind and responsive to people. PEOPLE and donations are what make your nonprofit possible. Kindness=adopted animals

I contacted these people in an effort to find out information about their smaller dogs available for adoption. Apparently, I asked too many questions! Their response was sarcastic and rude. I guess they don't really want to adopt any of their poor doggies out to a good home. How disappointing.

We've now adopted three dogs from Waggin Tails and they've all been great. Sheila and Diana always answer fast and are very helpful. They want to make sure you're paired up with the right dog for you and your circumstances. Waggin Tails is completely volunteer run, so be sure to make an appointment to visit before you go to make sure someone will be there.

I have attempted to get a response for 2 weeks, and nothing. Sent several emails, called and even went from Lubbock to Anton to meet a puppy, but nothing absolutely NOTHING no response no one was at this place looked issolated and abandoned, so sad to see all those dogs and a few horses in the middle of nowhere with no attention as I was there for 1 hour waiting for someone to come out or answer our phone calls. My boys were very sad and disappointed that they didn’t even get to meet Rico the puppy they feel in love with online, we had to drive back to Lubbock with 3 sad heart broken boys. Very unprofessional, definitely not reliable and they should give all those animals to a institution that will care for them and find them a good home.

I found this shelter on Petfinder.com and was drawn to one of the dogs I saw there. He'd been there for nine years! He's shy, but he walks nicely on a leash and is housebroken. He ignores my cats, so I consider him a win! Diane responded to my emails promptly, and Sheila the volunteer was there to meet me to help make introductions. The place is in the middle of nowhere, but you can tell that every effort is made to keep these animals safe and socialized. They do what they can with what they have. I'll definitely recommend them to others.

Won’t return a phone call. I drove out there to find the maintenance guy who knew all of the dogs but he could not help. He said he would take my number and have the owner call, so I gave it to him and still no call. Zero. Zilch. Nothing. I have no idea how they ever get a dog adopted.

Great people doing a wonderful job. They love the animals, do all they can to save them and find them homes.
We adopted a beautiful Healer from them. They made sure she was going to a good home.

Dogs were in kennels and no protection. No one was there with the dogs. Won't answer the phone or return emails.

They dont return emails. I was willing to make the drive from South Dakota. Never got a response after repeatedly emailing. If emailes are missed, why not return a call. Interesting I received a response from my review, still no email. I truly feel sorry for the animals in your care. I know my original email from over a month ago didnt go to your spam as I received a "brush off " response not even answering my questions.

I contacted this facility through emails and by leaving a message concerning adopting animals, over several weeks. They have not responded to any of the attempts. After reading the questions left from others, makes a person wonder if this rescue is truly a rescue, or just a way for the “owners” to get more grooming customers. Especially since the telephone message reference grooming before animal adoption/rehoming.

This small but impactful rescue have truly done a remarkable job. Most rural areas, dogs are not necessarily part of the family but Sam & Sandy make sure every dog knows love, gets healthy & most importantly are happy!
A rescue well worth supporting with time, towels, toys, food & most importantly money!
