Totally a rip Off. My issue was never addressed motor was not fixed properly. After paying $600. Jim said that the carburetors needed cleaning. Would not go on a test run. Gave me his word it was fixed. Same problem still exist. Took it back he said he would fix it. Didn't even call me and said I owe him another $600 still would not go for a test Ride and said it was a spark problem they fixed. Same problem still exist. Have to go to court and hope to get money back. Beware. I don't believe his words. Only after the money. I have done more research and should never gone there

The Manager was very helpful. I live 120 miles from there and he offered great advice when my boat wouldnt start for a day on the lake. Great customer service and knowledge about outboard engines. Will surely go back for any problems I have in the future.

Do not take your boat here!! Brought my boat here to have regular maintenance on motors and have a hydraulic hose replaced. I got the boat back with starboard prop running in reverse only, oil level low on both motors, *************** not working as well as hydraulic pump not working. After several attempts to have owner fix what they messed up he told me to take my boat and leave because hes not going to work on it anymore! After leaving his shop, my cowling on one of my motors fell off and was lost because they didnt snap it back on properly. Again, Warning to not take your boat here.

Dont bring your car to this guy. He is rude and his people skills are terrible. He charged us $900 to have our car fixed. I had to bring him back my car and problem still wasnt fixed. Then he was sending the people who messed up my car in the first place back to fix my car and i told him i didnt want them touching my car. I guess my car doesn't matter if its not a Mercedes. Im never going back and ill never recommend this place to anyone

Spend your money elsewhere!Purchased a rebuilt lower unit for a Suzuki Outboard and have had issues from the start.-Arrived damaged (seller claimed from shipping) Ill never know, so I fixed the part (1hr of my time) and put in service.-First trip out engine overheats so I pull the lower unit back off when I get home and investigate. Seller put the wrong water pump on the rebuilt lower unit. I had to figure this out and order and install new parts. When I called to tell the seller of the issue he yelled and hung up on me. I did end up getting him to pay for the parts which was $60 but dont get back the 3 hrs of labor that I had to do.-Got it to the break in point at 20 hrs where I changed the oil like suggested. It was full of water. I called and text seller and never got a response. Pull unit off again and had a shop re-seal it. $300 plus another 3 plus hrs of MY time involved.This unit came with a "6 month warranty". I'm only at 3 months and it has been a nightmare. I paid $2,300 for the unit which is what I would consider good money.Last thing to mention is that the new paint job that he claimed was done right has fallen off half of the unit. He did no prep before he painted it and I'm going to have to re-do it. Now my 15k motor looks like a junkyard rebuild.This guy has no integrity and does shoddy work. BEWARE!!

Sold me a J B weld POS,and refused to acknowledge my existence,found big hole in motor filled with J B weld.A GOOD mechanic found it right away,never again .I’ve got the witness’s to back me up.

I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR Jim at Aransas marine! Bought a motor from him and he couldn’t get it right after 6 months of having my boat and just gave up and told me I could have my money back!
