“This isTHE place to stay in Archer City. This historic hotel has been recognized in the Texas A&M book of Historic Texas Hotels. The hotel has been beautifully preserved and restored. The owner is very hospitable and accommodating to any requests or needs. We had a lovely room on the third floor with the original brick wall exposed. It was large and comfortable and very quiet at the end of the hallway. We enjoyed our dinner at Dairy Queen and breakfast at Murn’s across the street. The room was an exceptional value for the price paid. We enjoyed our stay very much.”
