“The remodeled store is quite nice and actually provides some fresh things such as produce. It’s handy so that you don’t have to drive 15 miles to the grocery store. It was getting dilapidated before they remodeled so I’m glad they were able to do it, and do it so quickly. They didn’t change the layout of the store so it is still familiar. There is a self-checkout station now. Another problem is that beforehand, the checkout lines could get very long, which was irritating if you’d only gone in to pick up one or two things. Overall, I’m glad the store is there and had been upgraded. The staff are helpful as well. And if you park at the west end of the parking lot, you are perfectly lined up with the runway that the planes for the skydivers use next door. It’s neat to watch them.”
“I love this place and it has a lot of the things I want or need for cheap ! I got some Christmas cards for my family and some cleaning spray for my bathroom. They spray works like wonders ! The palace is well organized by category and the employees are so nice ! ?”
“The manager (Ms. Kim) and staff take time to get know customers instead of treating them as simply " revenue generators". They care about the community and treat everyone with respect. They go above and beyond the duty of your run-of-the-mill retail center. They put the "Family" in Family Dollar.”

“One of the best dollar stores I have ever been to. They have more items/selections than dollar tree and family dollar. They also have a lot of hard to find items here. They also play really good music here as well. I remember the last time when I came here in September 2023 they played One Republic - Counting Stars and Michael Jackson - Thriller.”
“I visited this Dollar General two days in a row and always visit here. Today, I met the manager, Regina, and a new employee Charmayne. Charmayne showed me to the area where I could get a basket while she organized sale items. When I was ready to purchase my items, she immediately stopped what she was doing and assured me of the pricing of all items I had in question. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and honest about what she knew and did not know. This is the type of authenticity that builds trust.
I complemented Regina on how well organized and clean the store always is everytime that I patron this business. Although this is not her scheduled day to work, she is here organizing, adding prices so that customers are aware of their clearance sale, and training and acknowledging the great work of her new employee Charmayne. This is servant leadership in progress. She is working alongside her teammates and demonstrating that she is willing to do what she asks them to do, while depmonstrating superb customer service on a day she isn't supposed to be there. She personally stopped her task to point out to me the items that were on sale so that I would have a chance to benefit from the sale! I ended up purchasing sale items in addition to the items I was there to purchase. This is excellent customer service and it is my hope that the leaders of Dollar General recognize the excellence in their store manager here at the Bailey location. This is the top of leadership that renders repeat customers, such as myself. Well done Regina and Charmayne. I look forward to encountering them both during my future shopping experiences here.”

“I was in town for quick family business and found a need for a few car accessories. To my surprise, Family Dollar is open early on a Sunday. Like 8 am early.This being my first visit to a Family Dollar as well as this location, I took additional minutes to explore.The automotive selection is quite nice. There's a mixture of private label offerings and name brands. I noticed this throughout the store. It appears the prices are comparable to other stores, so there's no big savings there.This location is also pretty clean and organized. I wanna say they were merchandising the store during my visit, but that didn't impact my shopping.Overall, I'm impressed. I'll have to keep them in the back pocket going forward.”

I was in there on this past Sunday 5/26 and I left a bag with 3 items in it that I really needed...I couldn't reach the store by phone so I finally got a chance to go into the store today and the young lady working there checked the cameras for me and gave me my items back! “Well all the customers have something to say about this location but me as a new hire to this location I see why the store can't stay clean and put together and the answer to that is you'll customers come in and tear the store up we sit there we recover this store all day clean up all day we can do this before we get out for work recover the store and by the time someone else comes in for the next shift or by the time we are done on one aile recovering and cleaning up you all come in and take it right back down so in order for you all to stop complaining please help us keep the store clean to treat it like it's your house is your house full of filth no so where are you shopping at keep it clean to we as staff can only do so much but I must say it is A shame that we have to keep cleaning like You customers are some 2t toddlers are 3T toddlers that we keep cleaning and cleaning and then you all run to Google with the petty comments”

“In stark contrast to the Family Dollar nearby, prices are usually what is listed on the shelf.There is also a different selection of things to buy from here than from Family dollar.Is the store perfect all the time? No. But I have not had many issues with the store, and certainly not the staff here.It's suspect that here would be rated less than Family Dollar, and if you look at my other reviews like that Costco in Pearland, or the Sams Club, you know that I don't mince words when it comes to bad service.Here there is good service in my opinion.”

“I am very impressed with the remodel! I wish that I had taken pictures of how beautiful it looked!I pray that the employees and customers do their best to keep it looking so organized! We all need to think about the fact that we shop at this store, because it is in our neighborhood and it's convenient! We should respect the hard work that the employees have done in order for us to have a great store to shop at!One thing that Dollar General needs to address is that their is never enough employees on duty to handle the amount of customers that visit the store!People don't want to stand in the long lines all the time!Other than that, GREAT JOB DOLLAR GENERAL EMPLOYEES????”
