I've been a member at AFCU for quite some time, only having a savings account and a credit card. This is the first time I've requested a loan, a refi on my vehicle. As a Veteran I looked at three sources, one of which is supposed to be great for Vets...uh, not so much. AFCU, however, did a great job, with a great rate and monthly payment range I wanted, warranty extras, skipped payments for a couple of months, on top of some extra cash due to the cashback promo added directly to my savings account. My rep., Kristen Hughes, the lending team lead, got this process completed with a quickness, and I do mean quick. Our emails back and forth were delightful, our phone call was even better. Just have your ducks in a row, all of your required information ready to go for review, and it will be smooth sailing. Through this process, you can see they care about their members. I had been searching for a credit union to start a savings account and I heard nothing but positive things about Allied. Vangie help me with opening my new savings and she is BEYOND nice! Excellent customer service! It felt like I was at home because we began to discuss jobs, family, and holiday plans lol. The atmosphere is awesome and welcoming and I'm looking forward to banking with Allied.

I really like this bank. The people are friendly, and they exhibit "old school" customer service. They work hard to be an asset. I have an account at bigger bank, they hardly acknowledge me at all. I have to give a special thank you to Ms. Elsa, she has been a real blessing during tough times!

I am absolutely furious! I just spoke with Sarah, a branch manager, about issues my family had been experiencing with Allied. The stress we have encountered over the past 3-4 weeks has been more than we can mentally handle. The random decline transactions, not being able to use our debit cards at the ATM, it says transaction invalid, What? We have weekly direct deposits from our jobs and we have been embarrassed at restaurants and other businesses because our account was locked or out cards didn't work or the system was updating. I thought after speaking with Sarah on Wednesday that we would be good, until our payroll was not released in our account last night, and on the last day of our possibility of paying for our cruise, it was denied because funds had hot been applied. We lost our $490 deposit and now have to cancel all plans all because funds were in limbo. We have had over 50 direct deposits every Thuraday and they are applied by 6pm or at the latest 9pm… I am sick of it! The worst experience ever. My mother has banked with them for over 30 years, my sister over 20 years. I'm so tired and stressed out.

Christina Salem at Allied First Bank was absolutely wonderful, she helped guide me through the home lending process and was always available whenever I needed. I really appreciated how well she communicated with my realtor and all others involved in buying our new home, it took such a load off to know that Christina was on top of everything.TheShe not only offered professional help but also an ear for when the entire process became too stressful, and for that I truly am thankful. Buying a home is stressful but with the right lender it significantly reduced the anxiety, I will be using Christina again and I highly recommend you do too!

Amazing, courteous, patient, non-judgmental, professional, gentle, efficient, passionate, detail-oriented, humorous, helpful. I just can't say enough to describe Shannon and my experience with her today. It has been very long time since I have been on the receiving in of this type of genuineness in a person providing customer service. And the most surprising part is that it was just that; GENUINE. It actually brought tears to my eyes. Every question, issue and concern I had was resolved. Imagine being 1500 miles away from home and having to depend on someone else to take care of your needs. The last thing in the world you need is arrogance and impatience from the very person you need to depend on. I am so thrilled to send 5-star plus rating to Shannon (Mansfield Branch). AFCU has been my banking choice for years now. Recently ran into a little issue where an online bill payment I had scheduled to be sent from my account wasn't showing up in the system of the company I scheduled it to be sent to. I contacted AFCU's customer service and was pretty promptly put in touch with an actual rep after selecting that I needed help with an existing account. That in itself I appreciate in this age of automation.I found Jordanne, the AFCU service officer, to be very friendly, helpful, and patient with me. She carefully walked through the situation with me and figured out there was a delay in the bill payment being sent due to AFCU going through an upgrade and transition in their online banking system. She was able to provide me with the proof of payment scheduling that I needed within hours of me reaching out, as well as providing a backup resolution for the late fee if need be. I really appreciate the great customer service. Makes me feel like I chose right in picking AFCU for my banking needs.
