Bought this about a month ago, put about 2k miles so far and it works great, got registration sticker within 2 weeks and title within 3 weeks.
No complaints, good used car for a great price and Galen was easy to work with.

If you want to purchase a vehicle from this company please bring your own mechanic with you check out the vehicle to verify everything is good to go. Nothing worse than buying a vehicle that instant issue. Did not purchase but was about too and , unfortunately Galen was forthcoming about the vehicle with all the underline issues. Price was definitely too good to be true for a Jeep wrangler. You hav all been warned! BRING YOUR MECHANIC!

I love Barclay Motors. My wife and I went in to look at a 2002 Red Thunderbird and fell in love with it. There was no pressure and the transaction was very smooth. Galen And Robert were wonderful. Everyone is concerned about the mechanics of these cars. We actually took it in to have it looked over after we purchased it and there was lots of new parts replaced on the vehicle and it was one owner. All it really needed was new brake pads, and shocks on the rear. We are thrilled with our purchase in will highly recommend these guys. We will shop with them again for sure.

We had a great experience here. We got an excellent deal on a 2008 350Z and have had no regrets. It was priced below market value and I did a lot of research first. A family owned business for 38 years... you won't go wrong here.

Nice man. Bought a car here. Drove the car off the lot, and check engine light came on. Soooo disappointed. Someone told me that mom and pop car dealers will do that; turn the check engine light off long enough to get it sold. Turns out it was a bad O2 sensor.
Also, check for fluids. His cars are zero on fluids. No oil, no anti-freeze and no gas. Sent me on a test drive for another car, and the car was on E. I had to hurry and make a U-turn before I got stranded, and the gas station is walking distance from him, so not sure why the car was on E.
So far the car has been working ok with a few hiccups here and there. Christian Bros. in Arlington quoted me $5k in repairs for the car. Another mechanic told me to hold off since the car has so many miles on it. I did just that, but the car is holding up Thank God. Take your car to Main Express Auto on Main St in Arlington ask for Moe. They know how to work on these cars for cheap.

I recently purchased a 2014 BMW X1 from Barclay Motors. It has 134k on it but was very well maintained. Buying process was very easy and straight forward. A lot of reviews for this company from people that don't seem to understand they are buying a used car at a good price. It is not a new car, get a mechanic to check it out. Great place to get a reliable car for good prices. Pictures below!

Looking at some of the other reviews on here people will point that the car was in bad condition but thatâs how a used car lot like this works. You need to inspect the vehicle before purchase, itâs âas is/current conditionâ unless specified during purchase arrangements. The actual people here were nice, informative, and they helped me after I purchased my Lexus too. Answered almost every question I had as a first time buyer, and if you want a dealership level service you need to pay their prices (wouldâve been 4x for mine). Donât degrade lots like these because you didnât do your homework, everyone talks about small business and the little man till itâs time to put your money where your mouth is. I would recommend this one above others because of customer service alone, but this goes for every used car lot:
Used lot checklist:
- do your research on vehicle/history
- get prepurchase inspection, do your
own drive testing at highway speeds
- bring up any issues during negotiations
- enjoy your new car or move on to the next one

They are very good, reliable people; the owner, his son, his granddaughter are all helpful, excellent people. They helped us, even putting on our tags. I needed a vehicle and my little sister (who is excellent at researching) found a salvaged 2012 Mazda 3 with very low miles that they were selling. We went in on a Saturday and Galen answered all of our questions. We took the car to a mechanic around the corner for a Pre-Puchase Inspection and the mechanic gave a clean bill of health. That next Monday we went in and finished the sale with Bryan. It was an effortless process, and I am very happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend this shop.
