I'm going to start this off by saying GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Or, if you are going to come here, get tattooed by anyone else but the owner. I went in thinking I was going to get an amazing tattoo done by him. Now, I'm never one to normally speak up about situations because i'm a fairly soft spoken girl, or leave opinions on people, but this has been an absolutely horrific experience for me. I set an appointment with "OG poppy" aka the owner a week before I got my tattoo. I sent him a picture and asked him how much it would be. He said 300 which I thought would be a fair price for the tattoo I was wanting. I went in wanting two REALISTIC tattoos of tigers on my back, facing inwards towards each other. When I got there and walked into the back, I told him I didn't want them SO LARGE they cover my whole back, and I didn't want them to be too overbearing. Meaning I didn't want them to be so small and crowded that you couldn't tell it was a tiger on my back. None of those words means I didn't want them to look realistic. I will put up the pictures side by side of what I wanted and what he ended up giving me. So firstly I'll say it took him no more than 25 minutes to do my tattoo. He put on stencil, and didn't even give me a chance to look at the size, or placement of the tiger before he immediately started tattooing. He got done and I stood up and looked in the mirror. Now, from a far they didn't look bad just a little empty. He gave me no more than 5 seconds to look at my tattoo before he said "alright come over here and let me wrap you up". He wrapped me up, and in the room to the right full of other tattoo artists, a friend of mine was getting flowers done on her arm. I couldn't get it out of my head that I didn't really get a good look at my tattoo so I asked her to take a picture of it. After she did that and I sat down to look at it, I started immediately PANICKING. They look like two different tigers, the paws are literally nubs with claws on them, the stripes look terrible and unfinished, and they look like a 10 year old drew them. Immediately after that while i'm STILL SITTING IN THE SHOP while my friend gets her tattoo done. I texted him asking if he could bring me back in to touch it up and told him they looked unfinished. I told him the placement wasn't bad, and other things like that but , they were not realistic at all. He texted me back telling me "Yeah we could, can we do Wednesday". Keep in mind, it was a Saturday afternoon when I got it done, and i'm a college student/ athlete with a busy schedule but I wanted it fixed so I told him that was fine. After going two days of calling different tattoo artists who said it was a terrible tattoo, and that I basically got robbed out of 300 dollars, as well as some of my family members. I decided I did NOT want him putting ink in my body again and cancelled the appointment for him to fix it Wednesday. After I decided that, I texted him asking for a refund for my money because I paid $300 DOLLARS for this tattoo that is absolutely no where near the price I paid. Maybe a $100 dollar tattoo IF THAT. He told me "okay that's fine, but no refunds, you said you liked it when you left the room". Yeah, I said I liked it because I got a 5 second glance from it in a big, long, tall mirror that I could barely see it in. So not only did I not get my money back for this tattoo, I now have to go pay for it to get completely covered up. I'm 19 years old, and shouldn't be having to deal with worrying about having a god awful tattoo on my back for the rest of my life. And since he replies to all these reviews saying "don't let a nameless faceless person blah blah blah", HELLO! My name is Kenna Conner and i'm 19 years old and live in Fort Worth, and I suggest you DO NOT go to this place to get a tattoo.( I will say he was respectful in his messages & responded quickly, as well as I did too. I told him it was fine I couldn't get a r

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am saving you the time and patience that this company sure as hell DOESNT have. They rush things, they can't pierce correctly to save their life. The vibe...SUCKS. I called and the first receptionist sounded like a complete BITCH. Save your money, I HIGHLY recommend A Living Canvas Tattoo in Lewisville. At least they know how to properly pierce and spell names correctly

if I could give this place a zero, I would! I went in Saturday for that piercing special one of the piercer named Jay put them in super crooked to the point where I asked for a refund and ask for them to be taken out. He got super argumentative with me to the point where me and my friend left. Have been trying to get my refund for a past week talked with Madre about getting my money back from Jay. but I don't know if they're all in cahoots, so I doubt I'll get my refund. But please don't come to this establishment and if you do don't get a piercing by Jay!

There's some good artist there but watch out for the owner OG poppy. He got me for my deposit last year and then I paid another deposit and actually get tattooed. Then the tattoo done and it looks like a teenager drew this in art class. Not to mention the scaring and heavy handed. Ask for other artist besides him.

Ms. Jonique Carter is the best piercer in DFW in my opinion !! I have been going to her for years now, to get a variety of piercings, and every single time it is a wonderful experience. Her studio is very serene and comfortable, and she is very experienced and gentle. She explains to you the best piercing position, aftercare, and her prices are manageable. 10 out of 10! highly recommend ✨✨✨Services: Ear piercing

I’ve been to a lot of shops all over, but this will be my permanent one. The work is excellent, but the people who work here are my reason for coming back. Yesterday I came to get a leg piece and I overheard the artist next to me talking to her clients, I think her name was RiRi. I almost cried because the clients lost a son and a nephew and the artist took so much time letting them talk about their loss and even shared her own experience. She didn’t rush them and she was so compassionate. Of course my tattoo came out amazing, but seeing this level of care for someone in a world where all people are concerned with is making money really touched my heart. Most places are very in and out, sometimes the artist barely speaks to you….this was just such a beautiful human experience to watch and I thought I should share. Kudos to RiRi and kudos to Kandy Shop for hiring someone so kind ❤️Service: Tattoo cover-ups & reworkings

Unprofessional.. came here and the front attendant saw us walking in because the glass is clear..she was on a personal cell call and we waited a min until she got off. Came to get my 17 yr old pierced and they said no. That's fine if that's their rules but she was pretty rude about it as if she took pleasure in telling us no. Anyway I went to another cleaner more professional shop that was professional and allowed us to with proper protocol requirements.** TY for responding. Her tone..lack of customer service to inform us properly. Not sure what state law you are referring to because I checked before I came... Texas state law says as long as parent gives consent to the piercing and accompanies the minor it is allowed. Which is why I was with my 17 year old with Birth certificate and both of our id's to get her EARS pierced. Toddlers and babies get ears pierced in Texas all the time so not sure why it would be a problem for my 17 yr o old. If this is house rules I would understand but we weren't told anything other than she can't. I am giving my experience here .because of patrons like myself the owner wouldn't know how potential customers in this case are handled.

I went to get the $1 piercing special last night and this place was PACKED! I got kind of nervous about my piercings as my time came, but the receptionists helped me through it. One even showed me her piercing and explained the healing process. I almost chickened out, but she talked me into it, and I LOVE IT! I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

I went to get my nipples pierced for the 3rd time so I was very nervous, but Jonique talked me through it and it barely hurt at all. She is literally the quickest and least painful piercer I’ve ever used. Real cool vibe tooService: Piercings
