Had an appointment set for 3pm for a tire rotation. Got here 15 minutes early. They lost my appointment somehow and booked someone else. Said I would have to wait over an hour until 4pm.... I asked and no one to take responsibility for who made the appointment at 8am today on the phone

I had my tires aired up. The guy gave me a quote. Told me if I got tires that day they would be cheaper than if I came back later. I told the manager I don't like the way they do business. The next day one of my tires was very low. I went somewhere else to air it up it and it's been fine since. I really hope it wasn't a retaliation situation. That's a bit scary.

I think they need more training it’s so complicated to get a simple quote

2022 - They try to sell you new tires with every visit. My 90k mile tires had 4 mm tread left after just 22k miles and the salesman was ready to replace them.
2024 - The salesman would not authorize repair of a 8mm tread tire with a screw one inch from the sidewall. I plugged it, took it on a 2500 mile trip a week later and will drive it for two more years.
2025 - The salesman could not find the slow leak on the driveway but informed my wife that if they were to put the car on the rack and take the wheel off to find the leak, and the leak was "not repairable" (wink, wink...) they would not be able to put the tire back onto the car in the event that we refused to buy a replacement tire. When I advised that they could then just put the spare tire on, the salesman inspected the spare and informed us that the spare was "too old" for them to install it. He said this is their policy. I'm posting this to broadcast their policy to the public, since they do a lousy job of posting it.
So, if you want a free flat repair from Discount Tire from now on, and you would like to get most of the life out of your tires, you'll have to remove your own tire and carry it there for them to work on. They used to be top notch (as reflected in their 4.5 star rating) but the reviews don't reflect how desperate they have become to sell more product. It's now like entering a dealership and knowing you're going to have to take a beating from the salesman just to look at a car.

If youre looking for somewhere to waste 2-3 hours after you made an appoibtment to save time, this is your spot.
If you want to watch 20 men stand around while one (Immanuel) actually does work, this is your spot.
If you want to hear the techs yelling lyrics to shitty music instead of working, this is your spot.
Don’t go to this store. There are plenty of other Discount Tires, and this one doesnt deserve the business.

I am not one to write negative reviews ever, but now that I’m out of $200 plus for my alignment Discount Tires claimed they fixed, I think it may be necessary.
I went to Discount Tires Saturday, 10/26 with the intention of getting 2 new tires. The technician who looked at my tires recommended that I get my alignment fixed while I’m here. I agreed because why not. The technician explained to me that my alignment needs to be addressed, and that is why my tires wore out. The technician assured me that Discount Tires now does alignment services as well, and everything should be good to go within a few hours. Great, right? Wrong. I left Discount Tires a few hours later with my tire pressure light still on (didn’t come off even after driving for a bit), my traction light on (which wasn’t on before dropping my car off), and my alignment in much worse condition than it was. I turned back around immediately to have Discount Tires look at it right away. I was told they don’t know what happened, and I should contact a mechanic.
The next day, I take my car to Pep Boys (where I am now taking my car for all services). They run a diagnostics, and determined that my alignment was never fixed, even though I paid $89.99 to Discount Tires for my alignment.
Pep Boys explained to me that DT should have never done the alignment because, “the lower ball joint was dangerously loose. Whenever they backed the vehicle off the alignment track, it was loose again. The ball joint is why my tire wore that way. The tire pressure light still on. They should have aired up the tire.“
Thankfully Pep Boys came to my rescue. I urge to re-think taking your car to Discount Tires, unless, of course, you’d like to waste your money.

One of the techs is a perv. They put an apple airtag in a new tire purchased from this location. Please go to a different discount tire if you are a female.

A few Friday's ago, I had an online reservation at 3pm; I arrived at 2:45 pm for a routine balance and rotate free service. The helper guy said my tires are close to be replaced. He recommended I replace the tires. I have slightly more than 1/4 in. in treads so I refused. He insisted, more than twice, I should NOT do the tire and balance and just wait until I replace the tires. I said no I want to tire and balance done. He then said "... we won't get to your car until 5:15..." Wow more than 2 hours wait but I do want this done for I will have a long drive to Houston. At around 4 PM, I notice an older gentleman coming in; he said he had a 3:30 pm appointment but he overslept and came late. The staff was very friendly with him and I noticed they brought his car in for service around 4:15 PM. This is not right; my appointment was at 3PM and I even arrived early. I began to chat with him while we were close to the staff desk; I said very loudly so the staff can hear! ... YOUR APPOINTMENT IS AT 3:30 PM? YOU CAME LATE AND YET THEY HELPED YOU IMMEDIATELY? MY APPOINTMENT IS AT 3PM AND I AM STILL WAITING ... Very soon after that I saw that my car was being brought in for service around 4:30 pm. My loud voice helped! So here it is: 1) online appointment means NOTHING even when their app tells you it will save time, 2) if you buy no additional service, like wiper blades, they push you out and you will wait; they make no money on you, 3) they play favorites; IT IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE AND THEY DO NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS, 4) BAD service from this location and I have been a customer with their various other locations around the DFW area for over 20 years.
While waiting another customer who needed a FREE flat tire repair became very upset because his wait for his free service was so long that he demanded his key to leave. Before he left he reminded all who were waiting, that he has been a customer for over 15 years and it it ridiculous how long one would have to wait for the FREE service that he already paid for.

I had a flat tire & wasn't near a discount tire but I got my tires and wheels from here. Called to see what kind of lock/key that i needed to change my flat on the side of the road because i just so happened to be near an auto zone. Jonathan lied & told me only they are the only ones that would have it and i have to go to discount tire. Long story short, he lied, autozone had it and my tire is changed. Dont believe these liars .

This was the worst expierience that Ive had with a tire change/ repair. I received an estimated time that my car would be done by and When that time came, they still hadn’t taken my car into the bay. I called and asked why this would be the case and they said that they prioritized appointments before people already have a promised estimated time. I waited hours before taking my car back and no one had even touched it. They also made a promise to take my car in at the very moment that I was taking it back and I refuse because this should’ve been done way before there should’ve been urgency and priority, especially when your promised time is well passed I will never spend money at this place ever

Never have had issues of any sort with this location. I have always gone to Discount for my tires. Unfortunately the tires are not at discount any longer.
