I saw a 2026 Ford 1 ton Dooley crew cab 4x4 king Ranch advertised at Clay Cooley Ford Arlington so I called and spoke to a salesman about the truck and told him I had a 2022 Ford 3/4 ton crew cab four wheel drive King Ranch to trade he asked me to take pictures of the speedometer and the truck and send the pictures to him so I did and said he would get with his used car manager and call me back 2 hours went by and no call so I called back and asked for the sales manager and spoke to him and he said hold on let me check on it I held on for 25 minutes hung up the phone and called back and he answered and said he was almost done with the figures that he would call me back and I haven't received a call back yet very poor customer service I don't see how they sell cars.

I had a very frustrating experience with this dealership, though I want to be clear that my sales representative was amazing. He was responsive, answered all of my questions over the course of a month, and genuinely tried to advocate for me. Unfortunately, pricing decisions were out of his control.
About a month ago, I visited the dealership and received a price quote on a specific vehicle. The price was already a bit higher than I wanted, and I made it clear I was looking for a cash price. Despite this, I was repeatedly pushed to finance through the dealership, which I declined since I already have a great rate with my own lender.
I walked away at that time. This Monday, I saw that the same vehicle was still on the lot and the online price had dropped by $3,026. I went back in expecting the out-the-door price to finally be within my budget. Instead, I was met with new dealer add-ons that were not included in my original quote.
The dealership increased the price of the Family Care Plan, that seems optional annyways, and added a “ProPack”, which weren’t part of my pricing a month ago. It felt like a bait-and-switch to offset the advertised price drop.
Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I’ve attached photos of both quotes to show the discrepancies. Transparent pricing should mean exactly that.

Cara and Jacob at Clay Cooley Ford were fantastic! They got me there fast and made the whole process quick and easy. I already knew what I wanted, and they respected that, no pressure, no wasted time. I was in and out with exactly what I came for. Professional, efficient, and great to work with. Highly recommend asking for Cara and Jacob!

The absolute worst car buying experience ever! Sold me a car that was a sworn to be inspected. Drove off the lot and the radiator hose blew. They picked it up to fix it. Surprisingly, they dropped it back off at my house after a hose replacement. Right away you could hear the bearings on the right side knocking when you turned. They swore again it was inspected. They would not fix the bearings. I had to get the bearings fixed out of pocket. A week later the engine was misfiring. The Expedition needed a complete tune-up. At this point I'm $1,000 out of pocket in repairs. Again, they would not fix it. Nobody would not return my calls. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THESE PEOPLE TO MAKE YOU GO PICK UP YOUR REGISTRATION STICKER? IN ALL THE CARS I'VE EVER BOUGHT THEY'VE ALWAYS MAILED IT.

We had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with Clay Cooley Ford (Arlington). Our vehicle was brought in with a transmission issue and we were given a list of recommended repairs, which we approved after being assured the diagnosis was thorough.
We were explicitly told that service and sales do not coordinate and that an appraisal could not be done unless the vehicle was repaired first — only to later discover that a salesperson had already evaluated our vehicle without our consent. This contradiction immediately raised concerns.
Communication throughout the process was inconsistent and confusing. The online system repeatedly showed the vehicle as “ready” without any calls or confirmation. On the day the vehicle was supposedly complete, we were suddenly told a “critical” issue had been missed and that an additional ~$800 repair was needed — despite the item appearing on earlier inspection documentation.
When we pushed back and requested our vehicle back, that additional charge was suddenly removed. This left us feeling that pricing and information were being adjusted based on how much resistance we gave, rather than on transparent, upfront communication.
After spending close to $5,000, we did not leave feeling confident that our vehicle was handled carefully or honestly. We felt pressured, misled, and forced to advocate for ourselves at every step.
Ford may make solid vehicles, but based on our experience, we would not recommend Clay Cooley Ford (Arlington) for service or sales.

I purchased a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport from Clay Cooley Ford of Arlington on November 21, 2025, and unfortunately the post-sale experience was extremely stressful and poorly handled.
I traded in my BMW with the title in hand and no liens. Despite this, my equity check from the trade-in was delayed for nearly two weeks, and I had to repeatedly follow up to get any updates. There was no proactive communication during this time.
More concerning was the dealership’s failure to provide me with my buyer’s receipt/proof of purchase at the time of sale. This document is required for legal proof of purchase and for transferring a driver’s license in Texas. Because I was not given this paperwork, I was turned away at the Texas DPS and had to wait in line and return another day after being told I needed documentation that the dealership never provided.
I had to call the dealership multiple times, and the paperwork was only sent after I escalated the issue. This caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and additional trips that could have easily been avoided if basic post-sale responsibilities had been handled correctly.
While the vehicle itself is great, the lack of organization, delayed follow-through, and poor communication after the sale made this a frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend that future buyers ensure they receive all required documents before leaving the dealership and follow up immediately on any outstanding payments.
