The two women at the counter acted like I was doing something wrong by just trying to return two pairs of shoes. I felt almost like I was having to prove to them it was ok. “Do you want to look around for something to exchange them for?” “No thank you.” “Are you sure? It’s 15% off if you exchange them today.” I didn’t answer. “So that’s a no?” Then she closely inspected the shoes and whispered with her associate and was like “Are you sure you don’t want to exchange? Because these have a scuff on them and I don’t think we can resell them.” I explained that I had only worn them in my house to try them on and that if they had a scuff on them it was probably the person before me (they hadn’t been shipped to me in the original box so I assumed they had already been returned to DSW once). They finally accepted the return but I felt like a suspect having to defend myself against a crime I didn’t commit. I don’t know how DSW is treating employees to cause them to behave like this, but this episode definitely makes me think twice about ordering online from them in the future if the return experience is going to be this coercive and hostile.

While it's at the Parks Mall, the entrance is from only the outside. It's big and there are lots of shoes..prices are not discounted and there is not a place to sit down and try on shoes.

I asked one of the girls if they had any spring deals . She said did you check online ?? Lol I told her my phone had ran out of battery. Which was true . And she just didnt say nothing … i actually have the app but yea service was not good .

Twice the same day I got crabby service. First, when I made a purchase, I just wanted to pay and go but the cashier wanted me to sign up for some loyalty BS. It took her a very long time to ring up my order; she was more concerned with getting my contact info, despite my numerous protests, than with giving me the quick service I asked for. All she had to do was scan the product, take my pay, and hand me a receipt. Maybe she gets kickbacks for signing people up. Who knows. Honestly, I don't care. I was on a tight deadline and I just needed to be in and out quickly, with a pair of shoe inserts. Managers, please train your staff better! I then came back to return the purchased product (the inserts were too thick and I could barely take a step in them). Again, I just wanted to be in and out. I had the product and receipt in hand but the staff (another lady) shut and locked the door in my face. So super rude. I am never buying anything here ever again and will tell everyone I know to do the same. I so wanted to leave a stellar review. How hard was it to take my money and then process a 30-second return? I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. Save your money and go elsewhere if you are looking for halfway decent customer service!

The shoes here are priced reasonable and they are good quality and good looking. The customer service is great. They come quickly to you for your help if you have any questions.

Better prices at rack a couple of doors down or even Neimans if you catch a sale and staff was not helpful at all
