I initially gave Alex a great review. After getting the car to my mechanic I found that the car had been in a significant accident that was not repaired well. Alex had said he had the mechanics on site work on it. The radiator was replaced with the wrong one for the car. The frame had been bent in the accident and the wheels cannot be aligned. The airbag had deployed in the accident and the new one was missing a sensor. Some of the components in the engine compartment had been tore from their mounts and were not replaced, the windshield wiper fluid reservoir, the water pump, the driver side wheel well liner. None of these things were items that were cosmetic. They all had to be fixed for safe function of the car. The repairs have cost close to $5000. I paid about $1000 under the KBB price for the vehicle. I understand that I purchased the car “as is” but I feel these were issues that were definitely known by Alex and not disclosed. I messaged Alex asking if there was anything he’d be willing to do to make it right. He never even responded. If you are buying a vehicle from him be aware that his mechanics are obviously unqualified to do this work and Alex may not be honest with you about the condition of the car.
